... brief low-speed centrifugation of F18 in saline to separate any larger particles and aggregates (cream) from the liquid, the particle size distribution in the liquid was evaluated by nanoparticle tracking analysis (NTA) of 10-fold dilutions. The particles showed high polydispersity, with sizes ranging from <100 nm to about 1 μm (Figure 2). The median size (average of 3 independent preparations) was 210 ± 42 nm (SD), and the cutoff size for 90% of the particles was <547 ± 190 nm (n=3). ...

... of F18 into aqueous buffer systems resulted in rapid formation of a flocculate precipitate, with little, if any, polyphenol in the flocculate material, which was comprised of large aggregates of various-sized particles that rapidly rose to form a cream.
