This study examines the impact of Instagram's e-servicescape on the behavior of young people using a model based on social cognitive learning theory. 408 young tourists participated in the quantitative research. The research model and hypotheses were examined using exploratory factor, correlation, and regression analyses. The results showed that layout & functionality had no impact, while tourists' positive emotions and online flow experiences were influenced by financial security and esthetic appeal. It was also noted that the components of Instagram's e-service experience play a crucial role in understanding the travel behavior of young people. Therefore, it is important for tourism businesses to continually improve content of their account, especially in terms of financial security and aesthetic appeal, as the experiences of young travelers on Instagram impact their purchase intentions. Incorporating online flow experience and positive affect into the social cognitive learning model helps better explain tourists' behavior on social media. The study offers a perspective to tourism researchers and professionals by providing information about the meaning of young tourists' social media use for the tourism industry.

Public engagement is important in sustaining public health through an effective risk communication process with e-government applications. By integrating seeking health risk information, social media competence, and trust in government information into the protective theory model, this study examines public engagement in adopting e-government applications for health risk communication in order to achieve sustainable public health practices with self-protective discipline. By applying the convenience sampling method, this study has collected 230 sample data and analysed using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modelling Technique. The results indicated that perceived severity and response efficacy have a significant influence on risk information-seeking behaviour. Social media competence and trust in government information were found to significantly determine the intention to adopt e-government applications to interact with the government for risk communication. The findings suggest that it is crucial for the government to establish trust and enhance the publics’ digital competence so as to increase the effectiveness of risk communication through the application of e-government services.

The use of information communication technology for tax reporting has an important role in increasing economic growth and people’s quality of life. This research aims to evaluate the success of information systems and trust in the government on usage and user satisfaction, as well as the impact on tax compliance. The success of information systems consists of three variables, namely information, service, and system quality. This research also involves gender, education, and age as moderating variables. Subsequently, this study investigates whether tax compliance has an impact on a sustainable information society. This research was conducted on micro, small, and medium business taxpayers in Bali Province, Indonesia. Data collection was carried out by distributing survey questionnaires, with 128 taxpayers participating in this research. PLS-SEM was then used to test the hypothesis. This study found that the tax reporting system’s quality has a positive effect on usage and user satisfaction, while trust in the government has no effect. However, this study reveals that gender, education level, and age have no significant effect on the relationship between usage and satisfaction of e-filing users and taxpayer compliance. Furthermore, the results show that usage and user satisfaction have a positive effect on tax compliance, which in turn affects the sustainable information society. This research has implications in terms of the importance of improving the quality of the tax reporting system in Indonesia in realizing a sustainable society.

The context of education has changed due to revolutionary developments in the information communication technology (ICT) industry in the post-COVID era. Innovative learning methods were introduced in the education sector to promote quality education. The students find it more convenient to use ICT tools to integrate their knowledge-seeking. China has recently paid more attention to developing and adopting electronic infrastructure. The study assesses the effect of technology self-efficacy (TSE) on ICT acceptance and implementation in China’s education sector. It also analyzed the role of perceived trust, perceived security, and electronic word of mouth (eWOM) in integrating digital information sharing and interaction tools. Data is collected from 382 business students at Chinese universities. The results revealed that perceived trust mediates the relationship between TSE and the actual use of ICT tools, intention to use ICT tools for information, and intention to use ICT tools for interaction. Further, perceived security and eWOM significantly moderate the relationship between TSE and perceived trust. The findings indicate that it is essential to offer assistance and instruction to students in the educational sector so they can use ICT technology more frequently. It is also crucial for organizations to establish a supportive culture and provide the necessary technological resources to facilitate the use of ICT.

Information and communication technology (ICT) has become increasingly important worldwide in education. This study aims to recognize the factors that influence the intention to use information and communication technology (ITUICT) and its acceptance in the education sector in China. A literature review was conducted to ascertain the potential factors such as perceived awareness, information acquisition, trustworthiness, social influence, and regulatory support that could affect the acceptance and ITUICT. For results, a survey was conducted on a sample of 381 university employees in China using a convenience sampling approach. The collected data were analyzed using partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that individual factors such as perceived awareness, information acquisition, trustworthiness, social influence, and regulatory support significantly impact the ITUICT. Additionally, trustworthiness positively moderates the relationship among perceived awareness, information acquisition, social influence, regulatory support, and ITUICT. Policymakers and educators can use the findings of this study to enhance the adoption of ICT in China’s education sector. The results of this study suggest that it is important to provide educational sector employees with training and support to increase their use of ICT technology. Furthermore, this paper offers theoretical progression to create a supportive organizational culture and provide the educational sector with the necessary technological resources to facilitate the use of ICT.

This study examined how uncertainty affects information seeking and avoidance behaviors via information insufficiency in the COVID-19 vaccination context. The way technology is accepted and utilized may have significant hypothetical and concrete inferences. Thus, eHealth, like any other technology, has little value unless it is used. In this study, fundamental elements influencing consumers' decision to utilize eHealth services in Malawi were assessed. Using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model as the primary model of inference, two new constructs were introduced to determine whether trust is a significant contributor in consumers' decision to use eHealth. Through convenience sampling, a total of 400 responses were collected over a period of 6 weeks and evaluated using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique. Outcomes of the analysis showed that Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, and Facilitating Conditions, had an affirmative effect on Behavioral Intentions to use eHealth. Performance Expectancy indirectly had a positive effect on Behavioral Intentions to use eHealth services via Trust in internet and Trust in online healthcare providers. However, Trust of Internet had an insignificant effect while Trust in online healthcare providers had a positive effect. Thus, government and stakeholders in the health sector need to create platforms for engagement in health-related matters targeting the youth between 18 and 35 years who are the largest consumers of internet services.

Governance, which emerged as a model of governance in the aftermath of the proclamation of the Republic, is currently recognized as a dominant paradigm in governance. It is posited that well-functioning governance mechanisms have a significant impact on the trust in public administration. The objective of this study is to analyze the influence of governance on public trust. To achieve this aim, dimensions of governance such as responsiveness, accountability, transparency, and participation have been selected. Data has been collected from 367 citizens residing in the province of Uşak through a combination of face-to-face and online survey instruments. The findings indicate that all four dimensions of governance have statistically significant positive effects on citizens' trust in public administration. Participation, however, exerts a comparatively lower impact on trust compared to the other dimensions. Consequently, at the local governance level, effective and efficient provision of public services necessitates well-functioning governance mechanisms. Such mechanisms positively affect citizens' trust in public administration, which in turn holds pivotal importance for the continuity of the Republic.

This article aims to conduct empirical research on the relationship between determinants of citizen relationship quality and e-government adoption. Using primary data from a cross-sectional field survey, 11 cities, towns, and districts in Tien Giang Province, Vietnam were analyzed. Statistical descriptive analysis was performed on the responses received from 529 respondents by using SmartPLS4 to evaluate the measurement and structural models. This research investigated four attributes such as perceived accountability, security, responsiveness, and transparency are some of the features studied along with their respective influences on the quality of relationships with citizens, which are drivers of e-Government adoption. This study shows that when people have positive impressions of their government regarding security, responsiveness, and transparency, they are more likely to trust and satisfy their government and use e-government services. However, there is no correlation between citizens' sense of responsibility and the quality of their interpersonal relationships. Additionally, there is a favorable correlation between relationship quality and the use of e-Government. The results provide new insight into the relationship between trust and satisfaction and the likelihood of using e-Government services. This research contributes to our understanding of what makes relationships flourish by delving into the dynamics between four factors: responsibility, security, responsiveness, and transparency. The findings aid practitioners like government agencies in better-comprehending e-service delivery, which in turn promotes more widespread use of e-government.
