Carbon dioxide is one of the main concern in the environment when it comes to energy usage of fuel, even the fuel is coming from natural gas sources. Apart from endangered the environment, carbon dioxide also affects the caloric value of the natural gas itself. The presence of carbon dioxide as contaminants is a nuisance for oil and gas industry as...

Figure 6 shows a correlation between stability and the amount of CO2 absorbed. The stability is linked with viscosity (Figure 4), where high viscosity, may inhibit the absorption of CO2 [5]. lower CO2 absorption may also due to the concentration of surfactant employed. ...

Black Powder (BP) is a worldwide challenge that spans all stages of the natural gas industry from the producing wells to the consuming points. It can endanger the pipeline operations, damage instruments and contaminate customer supplies. The formation of BP inside natural gas pipeline mainly results from the corrosion of internal walls of the pipel...

... This study aimed to evaluate whether turbidity could produce a satisfactory estimate of TSS and little work has been done to assess the accuracy of correlating TSS to turbidity in lake urbanizing of the Tasik Kenyir, Terengganu. National water quality standard for Malaysia is a one of tool to evaluate the water quality of the Tasik Kenyir included the possible sources from anthropogenic activities which influenced the water quality were also given, many researchers have used the water quality index which involves the classification of rivers or river segments into classes of quality [6][7][8][9][10][11]. ...

The urbanization has significant effects on watershed hydrology and the quality of water in this catchment. One component of water quality is total suspended solids (TSS) which a significant part of physical and degradation and a good indicator of other pollutants on the surface of sediment in suspension. The purpose of this study is to investigate whether turbidity could produce a satisfactory estimate of TSS in urbanizing at the Tasik Kenyir. TSS and Turbidity were analyzed based on in-situ and ex-situ analyses were carried out according to the correlation matrix and linear regression methods at 14 (10–140 m) different depths for two sampling locations in the Tasik Kenyir (which are Chomor River and Mahadir Island- the name of sampling location in Tasik Kenyir), using data compiled. A log-linear model showed a strong positive correlation between TSS and Turbidity with is (R2 = 0.991 for Chomor River and R2 = 0.995 for Mahadir Island) with a regression equation of ln (TSS) = 1.32 ln (NTU) + C, with C not significantly different. From the result, water quality parameter (TSS and Turbidity) showed outlet significantly which decreased over depth caused the water quality deterioration of Tasik Kenyir development. These results strongly suggest that turbidity is a suitable monitoring parameter where water-quality conditions must be evaluated.
... Coupling, in physics, refers to the phenomenon in which two or more systems or two forms of motion connect by impact on each other through various interactions, and such dynamic phenomenon is also called coupling effect. The coordination degree of coupling effect is related to dynamic cycle operation of the whole system; at the same time (Zhang, 2016;Dali and Kamarudin, 2018), it can also reflect the coordination state of the development of things that strong coordination means good development while discordance or conflict means development degeneration or stagnation. Coupling effect has been widely used in many fields including sociology, ecology, and economics, etc. based on its characteristics (Wu et concept to analyze the coordination relationship and dynamic development relationship among social value, economic value, and ecological value of forest, providing a theoretical basis for future forest value enhancement and forest sustainable development. ...
