... study reviews the performance effects of SCRES through a SLR and CNA of the extent literature ( Colicchia and Strozzi, 2012;Denyer and Tranfield, 2009;Tranfield et al., 2003), as depicted in Figure 1. The SLR helps to clarify inconsistent results on the relationship between SCRES and firm performance as reported by existing studies. ...

Many studies of policy diffusion focus on what factors affect a policy’s adoption. Few studies specifically test the mechanism and two of the most common explanations – learning and emulation – have not been tested outside of legislatures. While judicial scholars have applied policy diffusion to several types of laws, we know little about the motiv...

In today’s dynamic business environment, achieving environmental sustainability has become a key priority for manufacturing firms globally. Pakistan’s manufacturing sector, while pivotal to the country’s economic growth, also contributes significantly to environmental degradation. This study explores the relationships between green supply chain integration, sustainable technology adoption, sustainability culture and environmental performance in Pakistani manufacturing firms. It further examines the moderating effects of top management commitment and government regulations on these relationships. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining a comprehensive literature review with data collected from 244 Pakistani manufacturing enterprises through questionnaires. The analysis was conducted using (PLS-SEM 4). Theoretical frameworks such as the triple bottom line (TBL), resource dependence theory, and stakeholder theory guided the research objectives. The findings reveal that green supply chain practices, sustainable technology adoption and a strong sustainability culture positively impact environmental performance. Furthermore, the positive effects of these practices are significantly enhanced by strong managerial commitment and supportive government regulations. The study emphasizes the need for firms to align with regulatory frameworks and secure leadership support to advance their sustainability efforts. In practical terms, the study suggests that while firms comply with regulatory requirements, they can further enhance their sustainability strategies by adopting sustainable technologies and fostering a culture of sustainability. The study also highlights the broader societal impact, showing how these sustainability initiatives influence consumer behaviour and societal values, contributing to a more sustainable global community.
... Additionally, examining the broader performance outcomes, such as their influence on supply chain resilience (Li et al., 2023), would enrich the understanding of the value proposition of responsible production. Third, further investigation into the mediating mechanisms that underlie the relationship between responsible production and market value is warranted. ...
... The problem can be summarized as certain demand and starting points [6]. Knowing the demand and the position coordinates of each demand point, how to meet the constraints will enable choosing the most suitable path to return to the starting point [7]. When applied to actual scenarios, many types of VRP are derived [8], including VRP with time windows [9], open VRP [10], green VRP [11], emergency VRP [12], and other extension issues [13]. ...
The novel coronavirus pandemic is a major global public health emergency, and has presented new challenges and requirements for the timely response and operational stability of emergency logistics that were required to address the major public health events outbreak in China. Based on the problems of insufficient timeliness and high total system cost of emergency logistics distribution in major epidemic situations, this paper takes the minimum vehicle distribution travel cost, time cost, early/late punishment cost, and fixed cost of the vehicle as the target, the soft time window for receiving goods at each demand point, the rated load of the vehicle, the volume, maximum travel of the vehicle in a single delivery as constraints, and an emergency logistics vehicle routing problem optimization model for major epidemics was constructed. The convergence speed improvement strategy, particle search improvement strategy, and elite retention improvement strategy were introduced to improve the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm for it to be suitable for solving global optimization problems. The simulation results prove that the improved PSO algorithm required to solve the emergency medical supplies logistics vehicle routing problem for the major emergency can reach optimal results. Compared with the basic PSO algorithm, the total cost was reduced by 20.09%.
In business operations conducted under uncertain circumstances, issues such as escalating transportation costs, pervasive uncertainty, and a lack of collaboration among enterprises have surfaced, constraining opportunities for business expansion. Consequently, companies are compelled to adapt swiftly to sustain their operations. This research investigates the Factors Influencing the Supply Chain Resilience of Businesses amid Uncertain Circumstances. A comprehensive analysis of the pertinent literature has been undertaken, employing various methodologies to shed light on the principal challenges and drivers confronting supply chain management. The findings derived from the literature review underscore the pivotal significance of supply chain strategy and design in shaping the resilience of supply chains, particularly in contexts characterized by uncertainty. Consequently, the analysis of strategic aspects, the formulation of resilient supply chain designs, and investments in resilience are found to exert a substantial and positive influence on anticipated business outcomes. These proactive measures serve as a robust safeguard against disruptions, ensuring the sustained continuity of business operations even during times of crisis.
