... Low intake, and skepticism among general practitioners and therapists to the treatment format is also reported (Folker et al., 2018). Introduction Guided internet-delivered therapy has shown promising results for patients with mild and moderate depressive disorder, but several challenges with the format have been reported. The aim of this qualitative study was to investigate therapists’ experiences providing guided internet-delivered cognitive behavioral therapy for patients with mild and moderate depression. Material and methods Twelve therapists were interviewed, and the interviews were analyzed using reflexive thematic analysis. Results and conclusion Three themes were created: (1) For the right person, at the right time. This theme is about therapists’ experiences appointing patients to the program. It is challenging to predict which patients will benefit from it, and it is not the right option for all patients. (2) It is not like chatting on Facebook. The second theme was about the experiences with demands on clinics, therapists and patients that must be considered. The internet-delivered treatment should not be viewed as a simple treatment option, and the value of having contact with the patients during treatment was emphasized. (3) It is like a railroad, but without the switches. This theme was about the experiences with how the treatment content was conveyed to the patients, how the therapists expressed concerns with the usability of the program and the reported need for more possibilities in tailoring treatment for each patient.

Objective: The review aims to describe and identify the frequency of anxiety symptoms, as well as demonstrate the benefits of technological interventions in the diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of anxiety in the young population. Theoretical Framework: Pathological anxiety compromises quality of life, and technological globalization has driven the use of digital solutions, such as mobile apps, interactive games, and mindfulness platforms. These tools offer affordable and low-cost alternatives for treating anxiety, with the potential to complement traditional approaches. Method: This study is an integrative literature review on the use of digital therapies in the treatment of anxiety among young people. Self-management apps, such as Mood-& app and Headspace, and gamification games were analyzed. The focus was on the effectiveness of these interventions and challenges like irregular adherence and lack of standardization. Results and Discussion: The apps analyzed proved effective in monitoring anxiety symptoms, promoting emotional well-being. Gamification games and RPGs helped in building emotional skills. However, irregular adherence and lack of standardization in interventions are challenges. Personalization of interventions is crucial to enhance their effectiveness. Implications of the Research: Digital therapies are a promising alternative to complement traditional approaches, especially in contexts of high mental health demand, with personalization being key to improving adherence. Originality/Value: The research offers a critical analysis of the applicability of digital therapies, highlighting their advantages and challenges, and contributes to the understanding of new therapeutic alternatives.
