Sweet lime is very different from the fruit
that we traditionally think of as a lime.
When fully ripe, the fruit’s size is
comparable to a large lemon, and the skin
is light green or, more commonly, yellow.
The taste lacks acidity that causes
tartness. The resulting flavour is mild and
refreshing; commonly enjoyed as a juice,
