The Borexino detector at Gran Sasso has now accumulated over ten years of continuous data which represent a magnificent opportunity to study the cosmic muon flux at a deep underground location. We present here a precision measurement of the flux and of the expected seasonal modulation. We present the correlation with the atmospheric temperature var...

... Figure 1 we show the muon flux observed by Borexino. At first order, the muon flux may be described by a simple sinusoidal behaviour, with perturbations arising from short-or long-term effects. ...

In the framework of the quark delocalization color screening model, we investigate the meson-meson interaction in the fully light four-quark system . The calculation of the effective potentials of all the $S-$wave states shows that for most states the interaction between two vector mesons is attractive; the one between a pseudoscalar meson and a ve...

Inspection of ageing, reinforced concrete structures is a world-wide challenge. Existing non-destructive evaluation techniques in civil and structural engineering have limited penetration depth and don’t allow to precisely ascertain the configuration of reinforcement within large concrete objects. The big challenge for critical infrastructure (brid...

Neutrino is a major candidate of Majorana particle and the neutrinoless double beta (0 v 2 β ) decay is the key physics to prove it. In 2019, KamLAND-Zen experiment have started data taking to search for 0 v 2 β decay with 745 kg of ¹³⁶ Xe as the source. The sensitivity is restricted by the statistics of backgrounds and the most critical ones are i...

Using an extended chromomagnetic model, we perform a systematic study of the masses of the doubly heavy tetraquarks. We find that the ground states of the doubly heavy tetraquarks are dominated by color-triplet $\ket{(qq)^{\bar{3}_{c}}(\bar{Q}\bar{Q})^{3_{c}}}$ configuration, which is opposite to that of the fully heavy tetraquarks. The combined re...
