Indonesia is known as the country with the largest Muslim population in the world. Many companies are currently working hard to fulfill customers' primary need, which is fashion, especially for women. On the other hand, companies need to adjust their style in line with customer faith and social norms. Therefore, this research analyzes the effect of customer religiosity, product knowledge, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, and attitude toward their online purchase intention. The study targeted the respondents who wore Sharia and non-Sharia fashion styles by constructing the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) conceptual model, using structural equation modeling partial least square (SEM-PLS) tools. The survey used purposive sampling as the sampling method, and 408 respondents were analyzed using the Likert scale. The result from Muslim women who wear Sharia and Non-Sharia fashion styles respondents shows that subjective norms and perceived behavioral control have significant effects on online purchase intention. In Indonesia, social values have become crucial predictors that could influence consumer behavior. Religiosity seems to have a lesser influence on online fashion choices. Consumers are deterred from choosing Sharia fashion due to negative experiences, low seller reputation and poor product quality. These findings will assist business owners selling the product online to develop a content strategy that uses colorful products, flexible design, and outstanding quality. It is also necessary to provide a detailed video regarding product specifications.

The question of sustainable design and sustainable fashion is a part of the daily life of every modern or (non)modern individual, and it integrates and subconsciously imposes the question of the way of life of a modern man in the new century. Therefore, we can say that sustainable fashion is an aspect of sustainable design and supports sustainability and modernity. Sustainable design is a design that is in function of sustainable functioning and living in clothes, which supports and benefits nature and natural laws. In relation to the latter, emphasis is placed on ecology as a driving force and the most important element of life. The importance of nature and the preservation of its beauty became especially important in the period after the pandemic. The reason is to preserve human health and live in natural conditions, in which man, as the most perfect creature, will fully enjoy all its benefits and beauties. Therefore, ecology and design sublimatively create a new branch, so called eco-design, which finds great application in fashion design. This type of fashion design is primarily supported by environmentally conscious fashion designers, those who strive for design forms and tendencies, who are driven by the desire to preserve nature and urbanize clothing into body shapes that will give new, avant-garde, but above all functional performance and strength of clothing. One of the first fashion designers, a pioneer who bravely performs and joins this wave of creating the so-called sustainable fashion is English designer Stella McCartney. When we talk about sustainable fashion, we must first mention this popularly known sustainable fashion queen. Her name is emblematic and it is inevitable to be mentioned and analyzed in this context. She is one of the few fashion designers who is aware of the importance of nature, the importance of renewing and maintaining natural resources, and last but not least, creating visual forms that will not harm them in any way.
... All aspects of fashion, encompassing clothes, accessories, shoes, and footwear, have quite a volatile, transient quality to them, yet they can simultaneously serve as a cultural "identity" component (Pozzo, 2020). In his paper, Efremov et al., (2021) shows that clothing is a form of self-expression and personality that is used to complement some of the shortcomings in a person to achieve spiritual or psychological balance. The use of fashion as a means of self-expression, as a representation of a culture or of particular traits, or both, has an impact on how a person fits into society. ...

In order to prevent overconsumption, it is crucial to understand the causes of conspicuous consumption. The purpose of this study is to determine how self-esteem (SE) and a sense of belonging (SOB) relate to conspicuous consumption (CC). With an average age of early 20s in the Jakarta and Java region, 127 representatives of Generation Z are surveyed to collect data. Results revealed that both Self-Esteem and Sense of Belonging were strongly correlated with Conspicuous Consumption, according to correlation and regression analysis. We suggest for young adults to not purchase goods or items impulsively to avoid conspicuous consumption rather than displaying one's wealth. Limitation and future research are discussed in context of the study's findings.
... Good taste in clothing means the right choice of clothes, shoes, jewelry and other details, but of course it should be adapted for every occasion. Clothing is not just a way of dressing, it is an external characteristic and feature of a person who appears in public (Castaldo Lundén, 2020;Efremov et al., 2021). Business attire implies respect for certain unwritten rules, to be elegant and unobtrusive, to emphasize and preserve authority, ant not to act rigid or too nonchalant, to be in line with fashion trends, but not fashionable, because it is a bit frivolous (Ranisavljev-Kocareva, 2009). ...

The informal welding industry is one of the major SMEs in Ghana. The industry is however confronted with a lot of challenges which, therefore, can be addressed by the use of Plan-do-check-act (PDCA) and 5S concepts. This study evaluated the benefits of the PDCA and 5S concepts as strategic tools for improving the performance of the informal welding industry in Kumasi, Ghana, by using the exploratory research technique. The PDCA and 5S concepts were implemented for a period of six months using 50 welder industries selected by the stratified random sampling procedure. The diagnosis of the current state of the industry was initially measured through performance indicators generated through questionnaires, interviews and direct observations. The design of the solution strategy was then implemented using the concepts to mitigate the challenges previously identified. This was followed by data collection to monitor the performance of the study factors. The results showed a significant (66%) general improvement in the cleanliness of the work environment, work safety and health of workers of all the study workshops.
