Interpreting MACD and RSI Indicators. a) MACD Indicator results into a buy or sell signal at the point of crossover between MACD curve and its moving average Signal Line. If MACD turns up and crosses above the Signal line, the result is a 'Buy' signal. b) RSI Indicator results into 'Buy' signal if RSI curve is below the 'Buy threshold' called the oversold region. 'Sell' signal is produced if RSI curve falls above 'Sell Threshold' called the overbought region.
