Evaluation of the management of protected areas in Galapagos. A spider diagram was used, with each vertex marked with the mean score obtained for each of the key elements. The numbers 1, 2, and 3 represent the possible values assigned to each element evaluated, where 1 indicates the least optimal situation, 2 indicates moderate or satisfactory performance/management, and 3 indicates ideal or better performance/management. The mean scores represented at each vertex are the result of calculating the mean of the different variables evaluated for each key element.
