... The results indicated that a higher level of CSE in subordinates, with higher support of KOL, enhances the KSBs and WE level at the workplace. Furthermore, earlier studies (Jaiswal & Dhar, 2015;Orth & Volmer, 2017;Storme & Celik, 2018) also showed that CSE influences positive outcomes. This study's fifth and final hypothesis proposed that CSE moderates the indirect effect of KOL on EIP via KSBs and WE. ...
The objective of this study is to investigate the mediating role of (Knowledge sharing behavior, work engagement) and moderating role of creative self-efficacy in the relationship between knowledge-oriented leadership and employee’s innovative performance in the information technology sector of China. Data for this study was collected randomly in three phases with the time-lagged method. Voluntary participation of 452 employees (313 subordinates and 139 immediate supervisors) from the information technology sector. The findings of this study confirm that knowledge-sharing behavior and work engagement mediate the relationship between knowledge-oriented leadership and employees’ innovative performance. Moreover, the current study’s findings also prove the moderating effect of creative self-efficacy between the relationship of knowledge-oriented leadership and knowledge-sharing behavior and work engagement. Additionally, moderated mediation results confirm that a higher level of creative self-efficacy increases the employees’ innovative performance level through the indirect effect of knowledge-oriented leadership via knowledge-sharing behavior and work engagement. The findings of the present study are helpful for the management to enhance the innovative performance of employees through knowledge-oriented leadership especially in the information technology sector. Further, Knowledge-sharing behavior and work engagement helps innovative work behavior. Moreover, creative self-efficacy is a beneficial tool for employees to achieve the organizational goals.
... Additionally, career interests are a key factor in the performance of CSE. The higher the interest in work, the better the CSE will be [28,29]. In brief, short video addiction, CSE and career interests are all receiving much attention in the education field, but there is a lack of studies examining the association among them. ...
In recent years, a variety of emerging online media, such as TikTok, Kuaishou, YouTube and other short video application platforms, have appeared. The problem of short video addiction has become an issue to education experts and the general public, as students’ excessive use of short video has become increasingly serious with many hidden concerns to the students’ learning effectiveness. In addition, to meet the growing demand for innovative design talents worldwide, the Taiwan government has been committed to promoting policies related to the cultivation of innovative and creative talents nowadays, particularly for innovative design profession students who often use the Internet and short videos for learning. Therefore, the study aims to use questionnaires to understand the habits and addiction of the innovative design profession students in using short videos, and to further investigate the relation of short video addiction to the students’ creative self-efficacy (CSE) and career interests. A total of 561 valid questionnaires were collected after eliminating invalid questionnaires and reliability analysis. Structural equation modeling and model validation were conducted afterwards. The results showed that short video addiction had a negative effect on CSE; CSE had a positive effect on career interests; and CSE had an indirect effect between short video addiction and career interests.
... Intrapreneurship would improve creative self-efficacy through several ways. First, creative self-efficacy is derived partly from subjective feelings of mastery and confidence (Tierney and Farmer, 2002;Storme and Celik, 2018). For example, when individuals engage in intrapreneurship, they would show great enthusiasm for any risky and innovative behaviors (Pandey et al., 2020). ...
According to social cognitive theory, this study explored the relationship between intrapreneurship and opportunity recognition. We developed a moderated mediation model of creative self-efficacy as a mediator and support for innovation as a moderator linking intrapreneurship with opportunity recognition. Using a sample of 206 college students from Chinese universities, we found that intrapreneurship is positively related to opportunity recognition, and this relationship was mediated by creative self-efficacy. Our research further found that the effect of intrapreneurship on opportunity recognition was conditional on support for innovation. Finally, the theoretical and practical implications are discussed.

Engineering degrees are gradually losing prestige as modern schoolchildren underestimate the prospects of engineering education. High-quality and effective career guidance is one of the possible ways to solve this problem, yet a recommended set of effective methods to guide schoolchildren is still undefined. The article substantiates the relevance of career guidance methods in engineering education to attract high school students to technical specialties. The purpose of this study is to analyze the practices of career guidance work using the interactive quest method and to study the advantages and disadvantages of the interactive method considering its further improvement and application. To achieve the goal, analytical methods and systematic analysis of the SUSU Polytechnic Institute’s experience were used. The authors identified an innovative method for conducting career guidance events. The presented analysis can be useful for the admission campaign organizers involved in preparing and implementing career guidance activities for engineering education.

Developing and retaining a competent and professional workforce is of utmost importance in service-oriented firms, and it is even more crucial in the hotel industry as the entire industry relies on treating and caring for guests for their maximum comfort. Perfect career management practices can significantly aid employee retention. This study examined the career management prospects of front-line hotel workers from two different viewpoints; employee career planning and employer career management. Data was collected through a structured questionnaire from a randomly selected sample size of 150 from star grade hotels in Colombo. Hierarchical PLS-SEM analysis revealed that employer career management initiatives are more important than employee career planning behaviours in hotel employee retention. Employee willingness to participate in development activities and manager support were the main factors in employee retention. The two hierarchical constructs of employee career planning and employer career management were also developed based on six conceptions commonly cited in the literature as one of the major contributions of this research to the theories.

Meta-competencies in Career and Career Decision Making in Adolescence: Future Time Perspective, Future Orientation and Resilience
Abstract
In the recent years there has been an increased global interest regarding the role of meta-competencies in individuals’ careers. Within the current unstable socioeconomic environment these resources may contribute to generating positive outcomes to individuals in relation to career decision-making and career management. The present study aims at examining the meta-competencies of future time perspective, future orientation and resilience and at investigating their relation to the career decision-making process of high school students at the prefecture of Attica, Greece.Demographic characteristics (i.e. gender, grade, high school type) differentiated participants’ scores only in some of the subscales. Future time perspective, future orientation and resilience have positive high correlation with each other while future orientation and resilience seem to prescribe future time perspective.Overall, these results highlighted the positive role of meta-competencies in designing career guidance and counselling interventions for the career decision-making of high school students.
