Bromelain as a single enzyme is widely used as a meat tenderizer; but it can damage meat cells. The effect of adding multienzyme Phyprozyme HP in feed is not yet known, so it needs to be researched. This study aims to evaluate the growth performance and carcass persentage of broilers with addition of single enzyme and multienzymes. Each enzymes use 72 Lohman MB 202 Grade Platinum broilers aged 21 to 35 days, 6 treatments and 4 replications with Completely Randomized Design (CRD). Each enzymes use 72 broilers with 6 treatments and 4 replications. P0 as the control feed. Bromelain was added at P1 (600), P2 (1200), P3(1800), P4 (2400), P5 (3000) GDU/kg. Phyprozyme HP was added at P1 (0.19), P2 (0.26), P3 (0.33), P4 (0.40), and P5 (0.47) g/kg. Parameters measured include body weight, body weight gain, and carcass percentage. The results are analyzed using One-Way ANOVA. The addition of bromelain in feed decreases body weight, while the addition of multienzyme significantly improves broiler performance up to a dose of 0.33 g/kg feed. The addition bromelain decreases carcass percentage to 11.07%, while the addition of multienzyme increases carcass percentage to 8.83%, but decreases it to 7.68% at the highest dose.

Feed certification is released by authorized third parties as external cues indicating that products have met standard quality. However, farmers do not always take certification as the main consideration in product selection because of insufficient knowledge or they are skeptical about certification. This research aims to analyze the effect of feed certification, company image, opinion leader, perceived product quality, customer trust, and satisfaction to layer farmers’ customer loyalty. Respondents were selected by using purposive sampling with the criteria that respondents were layer farmers with experience for at least 1 year and customers of concentrate or ready-made feed. Data were collected by using questionnaire and analyzed with the partial least square. Results show that feed certification influenced perceived product quality with β = 0.127 and p ≤ 0.1; then, company image and opinion leader influenced perceived product quality with, β = 0.690 and β = 0.157 at p ≤ 0.05. Perceived product quality affected customer trust (β = 0.699, p ≤ 0.01) and customer satisfaction (β = 0.689, p ≤ 0.05). Then, customer trust and customer satisfaction positively influenced customer loyalty with β = 0.507, and β = 0.414 at p ≤ 0.01. Research findings indicated that feed certification was considered by layer farmers in feed purchasing behavior. However, company image was played as the most important factor among opinion leader and feed certification. These results implied that besides maintaining company image and the role of opinion leaders, feed mills and authorized institutions still urge to promote the importance of certification as product quality indicator.

Halal certificates are given when a product has been tested and proven to comply with Islamic recommendations and can be safely consumed by Muslims. This study at to determine the effect of Halal labeling on purchasing decisions for Samyang noodle products, Ujung Bulu District, Bulukumba Regency. This research is included in the quantitative descriptive research with a sampling technique using accidental sampling to obtain a sample of 100 people. The results showed that the adjusted coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square) was 0.249 or 24.9%. This means that about 24.9% of the variation in the decision to purchase Samyang noodles in Ujung Bulu District, Bulukumba Regency, can be explained by the variation of the independent variable (Halal labeling), the t value for the Halal labeling variable (X) is 5.814 (> from t table 1.664) with a significance level of 0.000 (

It discusses halal-compliant processing methods, focusing on permissible tanning techniques and the use of additives that do not contain haram substances. An overview of halal certification procedures is provided, detailing compliance criteria and the role of certifying bodies in verifying halal status. The chapter acknowledges challenges such as sourcing halal materials, production costs, and contamination risks, offering practical solutions for manufacturers. Ultimately, it aims to equip businesses with the knowledge needed to meet halal standards, ensuring consumer trust and enhancing market competitiveness.
This study aims to investigate the intentions and attitudes of Muslim consumers in Saudi Arabia with a specific focus on halal cosmetic products. The information was gathered by a self-administered questionnaire survey of 207 Saudi Muslim customers using purposive sampling. The originality of the research is maintained by collecting primary data from the participants with the help of conducting surveys with the participants. The suggested model was tested using Pearson correlation coefficients and an ANOVA test. The correlation between the variables such as desire, attitude, tayyib and halal idea is also tested, and numerical results are also presented. Significant and positive connections were found between halalan tayyiban dimensions, attitudes, and purchasing intent. There were also substantial changes in the study parameters depending on the respondent’s work title. This is one of the first empirical tests of the halalan tayyiban, attitudes, and intention to purchase model among Saudi Muslim customers. The study offers helpful recommendations for cosmetic sector marketers as well as strategy formulation.
Halal is a crucial concept for Muslim consumers regarding consumed products, including pharmaceutical ingredients, which are essential in modern medicine. To address the issue of using porcine-sourced ingredients in pharmaceuticals, it is essential to search for halal alternatives derived from poultry, animal by-products from meat processing, marine sources, and plants. However, the complexity of this problem is further compounded by the rapid advances in innovation and technology, which can lead to adulteration of ingredients derived from pigs. Other challenges include the sustainability of alternative materials, management of waste or by-products practice, halal awareness, certification, government policies, religious adherence of consumers, food suppliers, marketers, and purchasing of products. The importance of halal and non-halal problems, specifically in the context of pharmaceutical materials, is still rarely discussed, including alternatives derived from poultry, animal by-products, marine sources, and plants. Due to the increasing global population, there is a growing need to increase awareness and concern among Muslim consumers for halal products, including pharmaceuticals. Therefore, this research aimed to investigate the importance of halal and non-halal issues in pharmaceutical ingredients, the potential impact on the Muslim community, as well as opportunities and challenges in the search for alternative ingredients.
The constant increase in worldwide per capita consumption of fish indicates the need for reliable and viable sources of fish, and aquaculture fits these criteria. Aquaculture has continued to make a significant contribution to total fisheries production over the last few decades. The significant progress in aquaculture has been largely attributed to the intensification of production and increasing dependency on formulated food. Among the major challenges in aquaculture is aquaculture feed, or in short, aquafeed, which may represent up to 80% of total operational costs. Due to escalating prices and unsustainable resources of aquafeed ingredients, especially fish meal, fish oils, and soybean meal, many substitutes are utilised, mainly animal by-products and animal waste, which is a concern under Islamic jurisprudence. This concern is quite substantial if aquaculture producers are vying for the halal market. Hence, it is important for them to understand this aspect of Islamic law. This paper reviews the current status of aquafeed ingredients and the classical Islamic jurisprudence pertaining to this issue. References to current decrees and standards by major Muslim countries and Islamic authorities are also presented, followed by options and avenues for remediation.
