Coal deposits and walls that have been exploited in the vicinity of the analyzed objects in 2019-2020

Human activity causes transformations in the near-surface layers of the rock mass, which result in long-term impacts on buildings and engineering infrastructure. Mining activities are particularly disadvantageous in this context, as they trigger severe deformation processes that reach the soil surface as a result of the excavation of deposits. The...

Issues related to the stability of the earth's surface, buildings and structures located
in the zone of mining influence are relevant despite many years of experience in theoretical
and experimental research in this field. Sudden abnormal deformation processes deserve special attention. They are the result of the complex interaction of various natural and technogenic factors. A retrospective analysis of monitoring surveying of the earth's surface movement and deformation over a multi-year period at subsoil use facilities is of interest for a
comprehensive assessment of factors preceding anomalous deformations and to establishment
the features of their mutual influence. Databases of archival monitoring geodetic surveying of
deformation processes have been created for such studies, methods of their interpretation
have been proposed and software modules have been developed that allow you to quickly perform retrospective analysis of a large amount of data.
