-Application Manage records page While data entry happens in the Manage records page, the Search Records page deals with the records entered. Searching, viewing, and data export is made possible through this page. The search record page is the landing page of the application. This page offers a search facility that has plenty of options for managing data in the archives. Managing the entries includes editing, updating and deleting of records. One feature of the application is the Watermark and Quick Response (QR) code affixed to the exported documents. It is in place for legal and security purposes.

Geographic Information System (GIS) for Agricultural and Fisheries Machinery and Infrastructure (GEOAGRI) was developed by Caraga State University in partnership with the Department of Agriculture mainly to aid various agencies which intend to propose a farm-to-market road project. GEOAGRI provides visualization of the road and automatically cross-checks it to all existing proposed, ongoing, and completed road projects for possible duplication. The web-based GIS system requires the user to upload a shapefile or KML of the road; it then pinpoints the location based on its geometry and executes an intersection query to the existing road projects within the location. By having this mechanism, one can determine the extent of the intersection of the proposed road to the existing ones that users can also be view on the map. In addition, it can help the agency managers in deciding whether to approve or deny the project. The system also embedded other map layers such as rice production, public market, machinery, and infrastructures which is also one of the determining factors in the approval of the proposed road. Non-registered users may also view all the existing road projects and do basic map queries. The system is accessible at http://geoagri.da.gov.ph/, which is running and operational.

As the use of computers in our daily lives increases, so has the need for a natural procedure to interact with the computers. The ultimate aim of human computer interaction is to bring the change that there is always a natural way of interacting with computers coupled with ease and flexibility. Printed and textual media such as prescriptions, invoices, receipts, etc. occupies a large segment of our day-to-day activities and given their volume, it is inefficient to manage them physically as there’s always an associated risk of fading, damage, misplacing, etc. and hence a medium is required for their digital conversion. In this project, we have developed a robust, cross-platform web application that can process the images using PyTesseract based algorithms that can efficiently extract the textual data to facilitate the storage and retrieval of the same. The extracted text can be downloaded as a text file and can also be translated into the desired language. This is an active field of research and thus this paper also discusses various current implementations of the mentioned concept. The Optical Character Recognition framework finds applications in a variety of fields such as business process activities, number plate recognition, KYC and banking processes to name a few.

The growth of digital correspondence documents with various types, different naming rules, and no sufficient search system complicates the search process with certain content, especially if there are unclassified documents, the search becomes inaccurate and takes a long time. This research proposed archiving method with automatic hierarchical classification and the content-based search method which displays ontology classification information as the solution to the content-based search problems. The method consists of preprocessing (creation of automatic hierarchical classification model using a combination of convolutional neural network (CNN) and regular expression method), archiving (document archiving with automatic classification), and retrieval (content-based search by displaying ontology relationships from the document classification). The archiving of 100 documents using the automatic hierarchical classification was found to be 79% accurate as indicated by the 99% accuracy for CNN and 80% for Regex. Moreover, the search results for classified content-based documents through the display of ontology relationships were discovered to be 100% accurate. This research succeeded in improving the quality of search results for digital correspondence documents as indicated by its higher specificity, accuracy, and speed compared to conventional methods based on file names, annotations, and unclassified content.
