Nghiên cứu nhằm điều tra tác động của viết hợp tác thông qua Padlet lên khả năng viết tiếng Anh của sinh viên và thái độ của họ tại trường Cao đẳng Viễn Đông. Nghiên cứu dùng phương pháp định lượng bằng cách sử dụng kết quả bài kiểm tra và phản hồi bảng hỏi. Phân tích mô tả được dùng để nghiên cứu dữ liệu. Kết quả cho thấy trình độ viết chính xác của sinh viên được cải thiện. Họ cũng có thái độ tích cực đối với việc áp dụng viết hợp tác thông qua nền tảng Padlet. Nghiên cứu gợi ý rằng các nghiên cứu mới nên mở rộng đối tượng sang sinh viên chuyên ngành tiếng Anh, bổ sung thêm một công cụ lấy mẫu và các dạng ra câu hỏi đề viết khác nên được áp dụng. The study aims to investigate the impact of collaborative writing via Padlet on students’ writing performance and their attitudes at Vien Dong College. The study employs a quantitative approach by using the tests’ results and questionnaire responses. Descriptive analysis is used to interpret the data. Findings illustrated that students’ level of writing accuracy was improved. Students also had positive attitudes towards the employment of collaborative writing via Padlet platform. The study suggests that future research should expand to English-majored students, one more instrument might be employed and other writing task type could be instructed.

Desde la aparición de la pandemia Covid-19, los docentes están actualizando las actividades escolares de los cursos con el apoyo de las Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación (TICs). El objetivo de esta investigación mixta es analizar el impacto sobre el uso de la tecnología en el proceso educativo de la Psicología considerando la ciencia de datos y el aprendizaje automático (regresión lineal). Los participantes son 77 estudiantes de la Facultad de Psicología que cursaron la asignatura Método Clínico en la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México durante el ciclo escolar 2020. Los resultados del aprendizaje automático indican que el uso de Zoom, Moodle, audios y Padlet durante el proceso educativo sobre la observación e indagación en Psicología Clínica influyen positivamente la asimilación del conocimiento y la motivación de los estudiantes. Asimismo, la ciencia de datos identifica 8 modelos predictivos sobre el uso de la tecnología en el proceso educativo de la Psicología por medio de la técnica árbol de decisión. En conclusión, las TICs permiten construir nuevos espacios educativos que facilitan el proceso de aprendizaje desde cualquier lugar, permiten la participación activa de los estudiantes en cualquier momento y satisfacen la demanda educativa durante la pandemia Covid-19.

The present study is aimed at analyzing the impact of digital sto-rytelling on English as a Foreign Language (EFL) pre-service teachers’ writing skills. The participants were 101 students, who were enrolled in four distance courses of the English Major at a private university in Ecuador. Their ages ranged between 19 and 22 years old. They were divided into one control (49) and one experimental (52) group since this study used a quasi-experimental approach combined with a mixed-method design. The instruments included a pre-question-naire, a pre-test, a post-questionnaire, and a post-test. The main findings show that there was a significant improvement in students’ writing skills, particularly in aspects related to grammar and vocabulary. In addition, digital storytelling us-ing Storybird was perceived as a useful strategy to develop the participants’ EFL writing skills since they were more engaged in activities that allowed them to demonstrate their knowledge when designing narrative projects.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the use of digital games to enhance English as a Foreign Language (EFL) grammar and vocabulary in the English Major of Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja, in southern Ecuador. A total of 68 students from B1 level, according to the Common European Frame-work of Reference for Languages (CEFR), participated in this study. All the par-ticipants were enrolled in two different classes of a Communicative Grammar course. A mixed-method approach was used to collect and analyze data in this study. Pre and post-questionnaires as well as writing rubrics were applied as in-struments. Digital games were implemented throughout an academic term of 5 months in which students received permanent feedback. The results show that digital games were useful to improve learners´ grammar in aspects concerning the use of modals, gerunds, and infinitives; also, students showed an improvement in their vocabulary knowledge, especially in topics related to jobs and education.

This research is intended to answer the question, how are the students' perceptions of internet technology in learning and how is the acceptance of Padlet as a microblogging platform for writing skills in German language level A2-B1 CEFR standards for the student. In summary, 21 students within the range of 19-22 years participated, which consisted of 2 males and 19 females - data obtained through opened and closed questionnaires. The results of data analysis showed that students had positive perceptions using internet technology in learning. However, students cannot accept Padlet as a microblogging platform in learning German writing skills due to several factors that influence it. This research has an essential finding: before conducting online learning, lecturers have to consider internet availability and the adequacy of reviews to their smartphones as a learning infrastructure.</p
