A pen and ink by Bostelmann illustrated a Christian Science Monitor article dated July 18, 1935, and entitled " With an Artist at the Bottom of the Sea By Else Bostelmann, an Artist with Dr. William Beebe's Expeditions Into Undersea Wonderlands. " The illustration shows and the article describes her method of painting underwater.
