... We employ econometric methods for PPP testing, applying statistical techniques to study economic data and yield optimal decision outcomes. Placed within economic analysis, our paper is connected with decision sciences (Chang, et al., 2018;Tisdell, 2018), pivotal in decision-making processes using quantitative methods (Hieu, et al., 2020;Truong, et al., 2019). ...

Purpose: This study tests the validity of purchasing power parity (PPP) between China and the 18 other Asian countries that have joined the 'Belt and Road Initiative' (BRI). The Chinese Government launched the BRI plan to enhance trade and promote market integration among the participating countries. The validity of PPP reflects the degree of market integration and serves as a prerequisite for future economic integration. Study design/methodology/approach: Nonparametric nonlinear rank tests are used to examine whether this is any cointegration in the PPP models. This testing approach is valid even if the functional form of PPP is unknown or nonlinear. Additionally, we address the rank problem in the multivariate PPP models. Findings: Our empirical results reveal strong evidence of the PPP relationship and reasonably strong evidence of nonlinearity in the data. Our findings show that some Asian BRI countries have experienced integration of their markets with that of China during the recent decade but not over the entire sample period. This implies that China's economic power has been rising with larger trade volumes with Asian trading partners, especially during the most recent decade, which, in turn, infers that the integration of markets through BRI projects has been enhanced. However, hidden transaction costs due to geopolitical risks may have resulted in the failure of the PPP relationship between China and some Asian countries during the past decade. The findings of PPP in our paper are useful for academics, practitioners, and policymakers in making better decisions for trading between China and the Asian BRI countries. Practical Implications: The findings imply that China should get better economic cooperation and greater economic integration with all the Asian BRI members. However, the fear of geopolitical risks and military conflicts in Asia could lead to an increase in transaction costs, resulting in drawbacks from the PPP relationship between China and the Asian countries, especially after the Russia-Ukraine war.
... Doing so promotes students' ability to think critically, analyze facts, and solve problems. STEM education also places a strong focus on teamwork, and encourages participation in projects that call for a variety of skill sets (Hieu et al., 2020). ...
... One effective approach to implementing STEM education in Vietnam is the application of technical scientific processes at model schools; the processes emphasize production practice (Hieu et al., 2020). This approach prioritizes experiential learning and the application of acquired knowledge in real -world scenarios. ...
... A central issue is the constraints imposed by limited resources, whereby numerous educational institutions lack the essential equipment and materials requisite for facilitating hands-on learning experiences (Nguyen, 2019). Furthermore, a scarcity of proficient educators who would be capable of effectively instructing STEM subjects constitutes an additional formidable obstacle (Hieu et al., 2020;Le et al., 2021). In response to these predicaments, initiatives have been introduced to institute teacher training programs that are specifically tailored to the demands of STEM education. ...

Currently, STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) teaching that applies scientific and technical processes is an approach to effectively implementing education in Vietnam. This paper describes the application of scientific and technical processes in teaching STEM topics in a school model associated with production, business, and social life in Vietnam. This experimental study elicited feedback by experts and high school chemistry teachers. Data were collected through expert evaluation forms and questionnaires answered with reference to a Likert scale, and the results were analyzed using quantitative analysis. The research proposed STEM topics associated with production practice and social life for teaching physics, chemistry, and biology in Vietnam. Through the proposed process, we designed and organized 33 STEM education topics associated with production and social life in teaching physics, chemistry and biology. Research results show that teaching STEM topics associated with production practices and social life has clear advantages. Teachers' knowledge and use of STEM topics was found to be at a high level. The study confirmed the effectiveness of applying scientific processes in teaching STEM topics and creating connections between schools and production practices.

The research was conducted during 2018 - 2020 on pellic vertisol soil type. Under investigation was cycloxydim-tolerant grain maize hybrid Trilogi duo (Zea mays L.), FAO 350. Factor A included the years of investigation. Factor B included untreated control, 7 soil-applied herbicides by conventional technology: Sulcotrack (sulcotrione + terbuthylazine), Successor TX (petoxamide + terbuthylazine), Acris (dimethenamid-P + terbuthylazine), Deflexo mix (S-metolachlor + terbuthylazine), Click duo (terbuthylazine + pendimethalin), Bismarck KS (clomazone + pendimethalin), Pledge 50 VP (flumioxazine); 6 foliar-applied herbicides by conventional technology: Sovereign OD (nicosulfuron + sulcotrione), Mistral plus (dicamba + nicosulfuron), Spandis (prosulfuron + dicamba + nicosulfuron), Arigo WG (mesotrione + nicosulfuron + rimsulfuron), Collage 64 OD (thiphensulfuron-methyl + nicosulfuron), Capreno SC (tembotrione + thiencarbazone-methyl); 8 herbicide tank mixtures by Duo system technology: Starane gold + Focus ultra (fluroxypyr + florasulam + cycloxydim), Kabadex extra + Focus ultra (mesotrione + florasulam + cycloxydim), Callisto plus + Focus ultra (mesotrione + dicamba + cycloxydim), Magneto top 464 SL + Focus ultra (2.4-D + dicamba + cycloxydim), Peak 75 WG + Focus ultra (prosulfuron + cycloxydim), Permit + Focus ultra (halosulfuron-methyl + cycloxydim), Bentador + Focus ultra (bentazone + cycloxydim), Onyx + Focus ultra (pyridate + cycloxydim). The highest grain yields are obtained by use of herbicide tank mixtures by technology Duo system Kabadex extra + Focus ultra, Callisto plus + Focus ultra, Magneto top + Focus ultra, Starane gold + Focus ultra and Permit + Focus ultra. High grain yields are also obtained by use of foliar herbicides by conventional technology Spandis, Arigo and Mistral plus. The use of soil-applied herbicides Sulcotrack, Successor, Acris, Deflexo mix, Click duo, Bismarck and Pledge in maize crops leads to lower grain yields due to their inefficacy against perennial graminaceous and broadleaved weeds and against the annual broadleaved weed Xanthium strumarium L. The most unstable are untreated control, herbicide tank mixtures Onyx + Focus ultra and Peak + Focus ultra, foliar-applied herbicide Collage and soil-applied herbicide Successor. Technologically the most valuable are herbicide tank mixtures Kabadex extra + Focus ultra, Callisto plus + Focus ultra, Magneto top + Focus ultra and Starane gold + Focus ultra by Duo system technology, which followed by foliar-applied herbicides Spandis, Arigo, Mistral plus, Capreno and Sovereign by conventional technology. Soil-applied herbicides Pledge, Bismarck and Successor, foliar-applied herbicide Collage and herbicide tank mixtures Peak + Focus ultra and Onyx + Focus ultra have low estimates.
