I have a question about my Research Interest or RG Score.
I want to add a journal that's not on ResearchGate currently.
Some citations are missing from my ResearchGate profile.
I can't add my publication because another researcher is incorrectly listed as the author.
- Go to the publication page by clicking on the publication's title
- Click on the arrow to the right of the title and select Claim authorship from the dropdown list
- Tell us what's happened in the box that appears and, if possible, include links to external services where your work is published
- Click on the blue Request authorship button.
I want to add my co-author to a publication, but their profile is not being recognized.
A ResearchGate page I removed is still appearing in search engine results.

- If you have an email address associated with an academic or research institution, you can sign up here.
- If you are a published researcher but do not have an institutional email address, you can request an account by providing us with the following:
- Links to your publications
- Your field of research
- Details of your past and present affiliations

ResearchGate is a professional network for researchers. This means that membership is reserved for those who are involved in scientific research. You can help us reprocess your membership request by providing more information. To do so, please enter details on your present and past institutional affiliation(s), research field(s), and publications, preferably with web links.
Please note: If you’re not a researcher, you can still browse ResearchGate and discover content such as publications, jobs, and questions without being registered.
I don't have an institutional email address
ResearchGate is a network designed to help scientists and researchers collaborate, exchange ideas, and keep up with their field. We therefore ask that you sign up with your institutional email address so that we can verify your affiliation – and that you're a researcher. Once you've signed up, you're free to change your email address for ResearchGate correspondence. If you're a published researcher without an institutional email address, we're happy to look into your account request manually. For this, please provide details on your present and past institutional affiliation(s), research field(s), and publications, preferably with web links. Then we can help set up a ResearchGate account for you.

You can reset your password here. Please type in your login email address or your confirmed secondary email address below and click Reset password. We'll send you a password reset link via email. Please follow the steps in the email to create your password.
Please note: Your password reset email may take a few minutes to arrive in your inbox. If you don't see the email in your inbox, it may have been incorrectly flagged as spam by your email client. If you have requested to reset your password multiple times, please make sure you click the link in the most recent email you received.
Reset PasswordI no longer have access to the email associated with my account
If you can remember the password to your account, you can still log in with that email address and then change the email address associated with your account by going to your Account Settings.
For security reasons, we are unable to send password or activation links to any email address other than the one you used to sign up to ResearchGate. If you do not remember your password and are unable to access that email, we kindly ask that you sign up again with an active email address. After you've signed up, you can merge your accounts quickly and easily.
Merging allows you to transfer all your publications (and related data, such as citations and reads) from your duplicate account to the account you want to keep. Your followers, followings, projects and questions cannot be transferred. The duplicate account will then be removed.
Please note that merging your accounts is irreversible, so be careful when choosing which account to delete.
Here's how to merge your accounts:
- Log in to your new ResearchGate account
- Visit the profile page of your previous account
- On the Experience tab, select the Report profile button
- In the pop-up window, select Report duplicate
- Enter the email addresses associated with each of your accounts and select Save.
Your request to merge your accounts will be reviewed and you will receive an email confirmation from us when the merge has been completed.
Please note: If you are a published researcher who no longer has access to an institutional email address, you can still sign up using a non-institutional email by providing a few details about your research during sign-up.
