We are looking for a talented, dedicated and experienced Head of People to report to our CEO and drive our mission through the strategic management of Human Resources, Recruiting, Company Culture, Internal Communications and Workplace initiatives and projects. Our team consists of 15 dedicated individuals who work hard to deliver on our People and Culture and Workplace-related needs. Now, we are looking for a senior level HR professional to lead the team and take us to the next level!
The successful candidate will possess at least 8 years experience, with demonstrated success across a range of HR specialist areas and at least 3 years in a Director/Head of level. You will have a strong bias for action, accompanied by excellent team management skills and a proven ability to interact with, and influence senior leadership.
Some of your experience in managing and leading change will ideally have been gained in a rapidly scaling environment – with exposure to both success and failure. You will have a strategic view, an entrepreneurial approach, and ideally, exposure to a tech environment. Interpersonally, your transparent style will complement your ability to drive leadership accountability, culture and excellence throughout organisations. Your record of achievement will include change and transformation planning, execution and measurement, and your guidance and coaching of leadership teams will have established your reputation as a trusted senior advisor.
You will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for managing sensitive situations and building trust. Your previous experience will have assisted you to develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills and an affinity for data-driven approaches. As a result, you will have the ability to assess multiple aspects and impacts of organisational issues and opportunities, anticipate long-term implications, and devise and execute coherent and comprehensive strategies and plans.
Curiousity will drive you, and your empathetic style will be balanced by a high level of commercial acumen. Working with smart people, in environments where change is constant will have enhanced your resilient nature and your ability to cope with ambiguity.
