If you see light strips between your wells then it is likely your Ab concentration. You can easily go further with your secondary Ab dilution. A photo would help in solving your problem. Cheers

I think I would like to understand what benefits IPV provided within relationships to enable the evolutionary process to occur. Fulton's CI assumes a cube law - where each increase in length is associated with a cubic increase in mass. There are many cases where this cubic law does not hold, and I have no idea if your crabs are one of these - I would therefore avoid FCI unless you know that cubic growth occurs in your sample. Le Cren's relative condition index, Krel, works by explicitly analysing the growth relationship in your sample (regression of log(lenght)~log(weight); check if one linear relationship is the best fit versus several linear fits for different size classes, or a curve-linear fit), so you don't make the cubic assumption, and then calculating the relative 'fatness' (weight) of each individual compared to the average weight~length relationship in the sample. Froese, R. (2006). "Cube law, condition factor and weight–length relationships: history, meta-analysis and recommendations." Journal of Applied Ichthyology 22(4): 241-253. Personally, I would recommend Krel over FCI, unless there are invertebrate/crab-specific growth relationships that suggest otherwise (I am not a crab expert).
