- Are there any papers or books which examined historical change of the concept "hoarding"?
I am wondering why the concept of hoarding has disappeared after Keynes's General Theory. Are there any economists who tried to extricate the concept of Hoarding after Keynes?
The concept of Hoarding was once one of the most important ones. For example, it was an essential part of D. S. Robertson's framework of his monetary theory. However this concept does not play any conspicuous role in the economics after Keynes. It was practically wiped out from economics. As I have observed in my post of December 13, 2014 to my own question "Is saving necessarily invested or not? How can this contradiction in Keynes be solved?", it seems that Keynes's Liquidity Preference concept has replaced and wiped out the concept of Hoarding.
I am thinking to save the concept of Hoarding and coin it anew as an essential part of the monetary theory of productions. In that purpose, I want to know the conceptual history of the this notion.
To consider your question (does 'hoarding' cause an increase in vigor, and in chances of default) one notes that both of these changes are measurable quantities. The economic 'vigor' is a vector of variables (e.g. inflation, labor costs, unemployment rate, payrolls, labor force participation, GDP, housing, and interest rates), and so is the default rate. These observable variables depend upon time and anticipate future quite differently, so that to make a step one should simplify. If I understand correctly, at the level of split real economy/financial economy, no difference remains between the economy and 'a firm'.
This hypothetical firm has assets, and it is engaged in production, generating a periodic income. The income services layers of debt, and some of it remains. The remaining part, if positive, can be a measure of 'vigor'. If it is negative, it could be a measure of default. The issue of 'hoarding' is then the issue of restructuring the debt by borrowing more money to maintain asset viability. It anticipates that in a world of cheap commodities the return on assets might improve, thus justifying 'hoarding'. This is not exactly Modigliani-Miller, because, volatility of the components has to be considered. It is not a DRI-econometrics either because an effective description reduction is attempted where only a few key flows are taken into account.

I have been using mouse mammary adenocarcinoma cells and I have recently observed black dots. I was doing Puromycin-kill curve and so the cells were treated with Puromycin. I am not sure if the black dots are cell debris or mycoplasma. I also have untreated one where the black dots are very less in number compared to the treated ones. Been going through lot of related questions.. I would say they are irregular in shape, not moving and are adhered. I have not done DAPI yet to check for mycoplasma..

- What protocol can I use for the pre-fixation permeabilization of adherent cells in culture?
For years we have had occasional need to permeabilize cells prior to fixation and later use in immunofluorescence studies. This lowers cytosolic staining and increases our ability to see some centrosomal or mitochondrial proteins, either endogenous or over-expressed proteins. We have used saponin at 0.02-0.1% for 1-5 min in PBS or culture medium. But lately our results are quite inconsistent and we are also seeing changes to mitochondrial morphology, one of the things we are studying. Does anyone have a protocol they like, that yields consistent results, and ideally with minimal perturbation to organelles?
We had good results with the permeabilization protocol from Mary Dasso’s lab (Joseph et al., J. Cell Biol. 2002, 156:595-602). Cells are permeabilized for 3-4 min at 22ºC in 0.005% digitonin in “transport buffer”: 110 mM potassium acetate, 20 mM HEPES (pH 7.3), 2 mM magnesium acetate, 0.5 mM EGTA, 2mM DTT, + protease inhibitors (filter the solution before use) followed by paraformaldehyde fixation. The digitonin stock solution is at 50 mg/ml (5%) in DMSO, stored at –20ºC. We found this protocol to be particularly useful to lower the IF signal from soluble cytosolic proteins, e.g. in protein overexpression experiments.Following

- How to store the animal body for later use?
In regard to the preparation of acute brain slices, animals are anaesthetised, confirmed areflexia, and then decapitated. In my case, if I am going to study the hippocampus, then only the regions containing the hippocampus will be prepared as acute brain slices while other parts of the brain (e.g. cerebellum) and the rest of the body will be discarded.
As I think it is so wasteful that those precious discarded parts/tissues/cells can actually be reused in other studies/applications (e.g. make primary cells) especially my animals are not transgenic, I was wondering whether there is a way to preserve this parts. The ultimate storage will be in the -80C freezer.

Conversely, it follow that rich visual experiences might help feed brain strategies. Think of a man that all his life is facing a bookcase: quite likely he will organize his ideas in shelves, or in a cartesian double entry model. I could see that previous answers are trying to address your question from a wide array of properties. This is because you did not name the specific instructions you are talking about. From my understanding, you read something interesting on CNT and you are wondering if you can use that procedure to make graphene. This means, you may be talking about graphene synthesis and whether it is possible to adopt a CNT synthesis method you have read about and not that you wish to make one from the other. Obviously, CNT and graphene have same graphitic sp2 backbone. The CVD method of synthesis is common to both materials however, the fact that the method results in tubes for CNT and planar sheet(s) for graphene means that, the conditions are different.

Was also thinking something like Sequential Pattern Mining which may take care of the learners nature of acquiring knowledge in sequence.

When you think about equipment, that sounds like assistive technology would come into play. That would have to be individualized so that the standards would need to be highly generalized, while keeping in mind that a one size fits all approach would be out of the question. I would think that this would pose a challenge in creating standards for a group in which there are so many variables to consider with so much individualization included in the specifications for example. TGUT is very do-able but possesses ceiling effects and is not very discriminating nor responsive or sensitive to change at high performance levels. Pardassaney et al, Pai et al, Schoene, Arnold and other recent studies have ID limitations of TGUT in active older adults in particular. Because a test is "do-able" doe not translate into useful. Perturbation assessment, stepping responses,reactive postural responses need assessment. Developing effective stepping responses at body weight forces of the magnitude of at least 10 % TBW will provide protection against falls. Individuals 65 years and older should be tested for reactive stepping annually to determine % TBW effective stepping limits in AP directions. In my 40 year experience, RIPPS % TBW measure best ID fall risk and provides quantitative, serial clinical decision making for older adults. TUGT, Gait Speed,Single limb stand time, Tandem stand time are ineffective measures of fall risk alone or in combination. Add four square step test Tinetti to that list as well for active older adults.

I didn’t use a specific circuit arrangement, But I would explain about my instrument and data. Rectification process was done with a power supply with single phase AC source and as Barrie said, I think the kind of this process is important.
For measuring capacitor voltage, I used both analog and digital scopes and deviation from ideal values (after 5 time constant) was almost the same. So I think using electrometer, in spite of it’s benefits, is not the final solution in my case.
Then It seems that I should pay more attention to capacitor leakage resistance as Sujit and the others said. But what’s the range of this leakage in various capacitors and how can I get rid of this loss? With negative resistance theory of Cyril? perhaps ;)
They are my experimental data in two cases:
1) capacitor and resistor are both variable and are series with a power supply that I explained.
Measured voltage of capacitor by scope (after 5 tao) is 6 V (and this measured voltage was a function of resistance just) So I should conclude that capacitor leakage resistance is 0.15 Mohm If we use this equality: Vc=V*Rc/(R+Rc)
2) after changing the capacitor I used a ceramic ones and a constant resistor:
Measured voltage of capacitor was 3.4 V. So capacitor leakage is 0.51 Mohm.
Are they reasonable values and do you think that just resistance leakage is response of this deviation?
