Does anyone know a well documented WSN simulator/emulator?
I'm working on a WSN Security project.Basically what I'm trying to do is to implement a secret key generation algorithm, and run this algorithm in an emulator/simulator. I've done some research and

In a lab, yes, the value are correct, but it also depends on how the WSN are configured as mention above. In many large real world deployment latency can grow a lot. Thats why I agree what Theodore

I have to place sensors at a distance of around 500m. With zigbee (802.15.4) it is difficult to communicate between nodes can 802.11 be used.
I am able to run the simulator using 802.11 for this distance but for 802.15.4 the energy consumption is high. The way it broadcast is also peculiar and the energy consumption is high
