  Which unit testing framework for C/C++ do you prefer? Why?

  I face a choice of a unit test framework for C and C++. I want to test a SystemC based simulation framework in C++ as well as firmware for embedded systems implemented in C. I identified CUnit,I face a choice of a unit test framework for C and C++. I want to test a SystemC based simulation framework in C++ as well as firmware for embedded systems implemented in C. I identified CUnit, EmbeddedUnit, and µCUnit as open source projects for testing of C modules. CppUnit and the Boost Test Library seam to be applicable for C++. What are your experiences with these and other frameworks? Do you know advantages and disadvantages? Did you take other choices?

    You done a good job of identifying the available tools. They are all very similar, as I'm sure you have noticed. It is mainly a matter of personal choice.

  Can anybody tell me what requirements prioritization models are used normally for open source software?

  Traditional software requirements are prioritized using AHP, hundred dollar method, numerical assignments etc. Can anyone guide me about prioritization in open source software?

    Assuming that you mean QA is Quality Assurance and QC is Qualtity Control. Quaility assurance is used in software as the Activities that should produce software at a defined level of quality. Assuming that you mean QA is Quality Assurance and QC is Qualtity Control. Quaility assurance is used in software as the Activities that should produce software at a defined level of quality. Quality Control is a manufacturing term that referes to the oversigh used to determine that the items being manufactured meet there specifications. Typically developers conduct the Verification activiities in a QA plan and testers conduct Validation activities defined in the QA plan.
