I would say that national curricula development should be understood in relation to the field of education policy, the field of science (more specifically in relation to which specificHi Patricia! I would say that national curricula development should be understood in relation to the field of education policy, the field of science (more specifically in relation to which specific content in curriculum you are interested in, like for example physic teaching where the scientific production of research on physics didactics and general pedagogy and the influence from representatives from the discipline of physics) and of course in the ways in which teachers in the reproductive field "choose" to prioritize. One important factor is the composition of expert groups who are invited to participate in reforms of national curricula. Who is invited and the question of compositions of amount and art of symbolic capital the experts have in relation to the fields I mentioned earlier. It is a matter of analyzing the relation between the dispositions, positions and standpoints of agents involved in curriculum development and the fields which could offer legitimacy in standpoints.
