    Certainly here in the UK all submitted Ph.D thesis will have been checked through 'Turnitin' before being deposited in our Institutional Repository. At the moment the British Library's 'EThOS'Certainly here in the UK all submitted Ph.D thesis will have been checked through 'Turnitin' before being deposited in our Institutional Repository. At the moment the British Library's 'EThOS' service is negotiating with eParadigms for Turnitin interoperability for the national service. As Farhad said above, it should be part of the Academic Regulations of the University to ensure against plagiarism in this way.
