  In Iran there are mature trees that are irrigated with surface irrigation. If the irrigation changed to dripper irrigation, would it cause any problems?

  My project is "The effect of changing surface irrigation system to drip irrigation system on mature olive tree growth".

  I'm designing a small scale irrigation system for a town in Kenya. I need to evaluate a stream as a potential source of water. The only data I have is mean monthly rainfall, mean monthly evapotranspiration, watershed size, soil types and land uses. A key piece I am missing is daily precipitation and intensity. Does anyone know of a method that can estimate streamflow from monthly rainfall without daily precipitation or intensity information?

I have found a document that lists mean number of precipitation days per month, so I may be able to reconstruct rough dailyThank you both for the advice! I will look into these techniques. I have found a document that lists mean number of precipitation days per month, so I may be able to reconstruct rough daily precipitation data from that, then use a model. I will also look to see if other streams in the area are gauged, and look up different regionalization techniques. Thanks again, Phil
