  Can anyone please suggest a good current integrator to use with Faraday cup to collect electron beam current?

  In my experimental set up I need a current integrator to collect beam current. I wanted to know if someone can suggest a good current integrator.

  Has anyone used NO2 during bake-out of a stainless-steel ultra-high-vacuum system to improve the final vacuum?

  NO2 displaces adsorbed gases from the stainless-stell walls of a vacuum chamber. So I was wondering whether it would help to improve the final vacuum, or maybe at least passivate the walls.

    One final detail: do not limit yourself to Varian. I also had very good experience with Gamma Vacuum, for example.

    Maybe a good way to think of this is to think about why we hear of diffraction patterns but not of scattering patterns. In scattering coherence is not maintained to a significant degree and the direction of scatter relative to incidence is considered random, that is, unless we're interested in single-particle scattering. In my opinion it is a semantic difference that is justified by the many practical applications of making such a distinction. In other words, you could consider diffraction to be a special case of scattering.

  How the mass and energy came into existence if they cannot be created ? Did some supernatural thing created the? But not many people would agree on that. Otherwise we face infinite regression. Assume the origin of mass is Suff1. Then you ask about the origin of Stuff1, and it turns out to be Stuff2.   Determination of optical band gap in mixed phase???

  I have material, which is mixed from materials with direct and indirect transition between valence and conduction band. If I use Tauc procedure (alpha*hv)^n vs hv, I usually use for direct transitionI have material, which is mixed from materials with direct and indirect transition between valence and conduction band.   Shouldn't Gauge boson have a mass ?

  W and Z bosons are massive particles as demonstrated by Carlo Rubbia. Gluon theoretically shouldn't have mass, but Yukawa theory involves that the range of action of nuclear force is in inverseW and Z bosons are massive particles as demonstrated by Carlo Rubbia. Gluon theoretically shouldn't have mass, but Yukawa theory involves that the range of action of nuclear force is in inverse proportion with standing mass of the mediator particle, so if gluon would massless this range should be infinite instead shortest as experimentally is. How can be possible ? And if gluon has a mass how can quarks exchanging gluons respect law of motion preservation and at the same time stay confined in the proton ?
