Article: The separation of uranium from other metals in sulphate solution by fractional hydrolysis. II. Precipitation in the presence of phosphate, arsenate and silicate[show abstract] [hide abstract]
ABSTRACT: The effect of the presence of phosphate, arsenate and silicate on the hydrolysis of uranium and other metal salts in sulphate solution has been studied by pH measurement during titrations with sodium hydroxide solutions. The results have been used to develop methods for the separation of uranium from the other metals studied.Journal of Applied Chemistry 05/2007; 8(3):151 - 159.
