ABSTRACT: Severe aortic regurgitation (AR), when intervention is required, is best managed by surgical aortic valve replacement (SAVR). Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) for aortic stenosis has recently shown non-inferiority to SAVR and superiority to medical management.
