Conference Proceeding: Nonlinear Behavior of Self-excited Induction Generator Feeding an Inductive Load
[show abstract] [hide abstract]
ABSTRACT: The nonlinear behavior of a self-excited, smooth air gap, cage induction generator feeding an inductive load is analyzed in this paper, allowing for the effects of machine saturation. The self autonomous system is shown to exhibit a transition from a periodic orbit to a quasi-periodic orbit through a Neimark bifurcation.Power Electronics, Drives and Energy Systems, 2006.
