    ABSTRACT: It is presented a single-feed dual-frequency triangular Planar Inverted-F Antenna with U-shaped sleeves in this paper. A shorting-wall and a V-shaped slot are introduced to enhance the bandwidths in lower operating and higher operating frequency respectively. For return loss (S11) �0 -10dB, a relative bandwidth of more than 25% (2.1GHz--2.7GHz) at lower operating frequency and of more than 19.3% (4.9GHz—5.95GHz )at higher operating frequency can be achieved, which can satisfy the IEEE 802.11 WLAN standards in the 2.4 GHz (2400-2484 MHz)/5.2 GHz (5150- 5350 MHz)/5.8 GHz (5725-5825 MHz) operating bands.

    ABSTRACT: A sleeve monopole antenna is proposed, which can generate a wide operating band to cover the DVB-H band in the UHF frequency band. The proposed antenna is composed of a circular patch and a disc-conical sleeve, both of which are shorted to the ground plane through four shorting probes. With an antenna thickness of about 0.1 times the free-space wavelength of the centre operating frequency, the proposed antenna can achieve an impedance bandwidth of about 50% for VSWR ≤ 2 ranging from 446 to 732%MHz and produce a monopole-like conical radiation pattern.
