Conference Proceeding: A Post-processing Algorithm Based on UG/Postbuilder for 4AX-1300

ABSTRACT: Based on four coordinates series machine structure and five coordinates vector rotation, considering the structural features of the machine tool and control system characteristics, treating rotational parts processing as research object, with UG pre-processing software, a special four-axis post-processing algorithm is introduced. With this algorithm, five-axis cutter tracking document can be converted into four-axis machine NC codes and a special rear processor is built by VC++6.0. Article: A New Elimination Ant Colony Algorithm for Process Task Distribution

ABSTRACT: Task distribution is an important part of process design and affects the cycle of process design. To shorten the design cycle, a distribution method based on part features is prompt by converting task distribution problem to a capacity matrix. For improving algorithm efficiency, an artificial ant model is built with blackboard strategy. This model enhances the communication between ants and environments. Upon this model, the elimination ant colony algorithm is given according to the capacity matrix. Experiments show that the new algorithm, compared with traditional algorithm, leads less iterative steps and better solution.01/2010; -
Conference Proceeding: A hybrid algorithm for surplus material utilization based on integrated evaluation and matching rules

ABSTRACT: The high rate of surplus material utilization in boiler and shipping enterprises whose production mode is single and small batch will lead less manufacture cost. In this paper, to improve the utilization of surplus material, an integrated information model is built. Management properties, geometrical features, material features and economic properties are chosen as four primary evaluation factors. With this model, a hybrid algorithm for surplus material matching based on fuzzy integrated evaluation and matching rules is prompt. To compromise calculation efficiency and veracity, dynamic rules are assigned to different utilization cases. The method of parameter replacement is used to generate judgment expressions and execution expressions and SQL is applied to achieve the analysis of expressions.Technology and Innovation Conference 2009 (ITIC 2009), International; 11/2009
