ABSTRACT: The maintenance of generating units is implicitly related to power system reliability and has a tremendous bearing on the operation of the power system. A technique using a fuzzy search method which is based on fuzzy multi-criteria function has been proposed for GMS (generator maintenance scheduling) in order to consider multi-objective function. In this study, a new technique using combined fuzzy set theory and genetic algorithm(GA) is proposed for generator maintenance scheduling. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is demonstrated by the simulation results on a practical size test systems.

ABSTRACT: Web based online real-time reliability integrated information system is asked rapidly for more efficiency and demand response in recent. As the utilization of renewable resources has been receiving considerable attention in recent years, the information system requirement is increased. Specially, the reliability information system is more important for implementing the smart grid. This paper describes architecture of the WORRIS (Web Based Online Real-time Reliability Integrated Information System) Version 1.0 system developed preliminarily in this study. It is originally a reliability information system based one day go ahead system.

ABSTRACT: Renewable energy resources such as wind, wave, solar, micro hydro, tidal and biomass among others are becoming more important because of increasingly restricted environmental constraints. This paper develops an algorithm for probabilistic reliability and production cost credit evaluation of a power system added wind turbine(WTG) and solar cell generators (SCG) with multi-state considering CO2 emission. While a two-state model is well suited for modeling conventional generators, a multi-state model is needed for modeling wind turbine and solar cell generators due to the random variation of wind speed and solar radiation. This paper presents a method suited for the purpose of reliability and production cost evaluation study on a power system with wind turbine or solar cell generators. Test results indicate the viability of the method.
