ABSTRACT: Dynamic protection mechanism was proposed to provision each individual LSP in a group LSP with differentiated survivability. A resilient multi-QoS burst streams transmission over the group LSP was demonstrated in a GMPLS-controlled transparent optical network.

ABSTRACT: MPLS extensions such as the wavelength label supporting 3R regenerators and BGP dissemination of wavelength reachability across domain boundaries were proposed. Resilient end-to-end lighpath provisioning was successfully achieved in GMPLS-controlled inter-domain transparent optical networks.

ABSTRACT: A GMPLS-controlled all-optical mesh networking was successfully demonstrated using a path computation-capable network management system (NMS). The developed NMS can manage topology and physical impairments, and create GMPLS-based lightpaths according to path computation results.

ABSTRACT: Direct 10 GbE LANPHY transport over GMPLS-controlled multi-WDM rings interconnected by a WXC was firstly investigated using DWDM-colored interfaces with OTN framing on IP/MPLS routers. Full-wire-rate client signal transportation and OTN-based multi-ring management was successfully confirmed.
