    ABSTRACT: Optical laboratory system data for a linear quadratic regulator problem solution on an optical matrix-vector linear algebra processor are advanced. The accuracy of the closed loop poles of the system are used as the performance parameter. The optical laboratory system's performance in the solution of the associated nonlinear matrix equation was found to be excellent.
