ABSTRACT: A simple technique is described for the preparation of a high titre monospecific antiserum to human serum thyroxine-binding globulin (TBG). This allows quantitation of the protein by rocket immunoelectrophoresis in 6 h with a day-to-day coefficient of variation of 2.9%. Using this technique serum concentrations of TBG have been determined in groups of patients in good health, in pregnancy and in women on oral contraceptive therapy
