ABSTRACT: Interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets are generalization of both interval-valved fuzzy sets and intuitionistic fuzzy sets. In this paper, we apply the concept of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets to Lie algebras. The notion of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy Lie ideals of Lie algebras is introduced and some interesting properties are investigated. Characterization theorems of fully invariant and characteristic Lie ideals are established. Some properties of solvable and nilpotent interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy Lie ideals are discussed.

ABSTRACT: We introduce the notion of intuitionistic fuzzy left k-ideals of semirings and investigate their properties and connections with left k-ideals of the corresponding semirings. Next we give some important characterizations of intuitionistic fuzzy left k-ideals of different type and describe various methods of constructions of such intuitionistic fuzzy sets. Finally, we propose some natural classification of intuitionistic fuzzy left k-ideals.
