ABSTRACT: The work presents an approach for parallel realization of a class of financial systems in a distributed computing environment. The main purpose is overcoming the delay, caused by the concurrent access of simultaneously started parallel jobs to a common data source. Mathematical model for prediction of the jobs’ execution times is defined. On the basis of these times a delay start of the parallel jobs is suggested, which aim is to avoid the concurrent access. Preliminary experimental results are applied and discussed.

ABSTRACT: In the paper the results from the development of scientific projects and researches, based on notions and on the causal links between them are presented. The problems, concerning evaluation and management of individual distance learning are researched. A theoretical basis is formulated, an algorithm is developed and program system for planning the main course of education is created, for registering and evaluating deviations and forming the following stages of the individual learning process. The formalization is based on the theoretical-set graphs' properties. Distance learning organization, based on notions, is connected with the execution of the following main stages: -Analysis of the subject area, definition of the main notions and establishment of the existing causal links between them. -Advanced structuring of the notions and arranging them on the time axis. The connection with previous and following disciplines forms the so called initial and final package. -Decomposition of the connected notions and establishment of groups of notions, presenting recommended learning objects (learning units). -Stage of learning, self-learning and evaluation of the achieved theoretical knowledge and practical skills. -Assessment of the deviations of the learning process, planned in advance, forming of new strategy for individual learning. The current paper concerns the final stage of the preparation and the performance of distant learning.
