ABSTRACT: An N-type four level system where two coupling fields interact with two separate optical transitions was constructed in the present paper. By discussing the behaviors of probing field absorption profiles under the effect of different Rabi frequencies of two coupling fields, EIT, Mollow and Autler-Townes doublet can be seen and mutual transformation between them can be obtained. Multiple transition channels in the system were found and the results show that the system can be divided into several subsystems according to the transition channels. Quantum interference between different transition channels can be realized through different dividing methods, so three nonlinear effects with different generating conditions and physical nature can be seen in the system.

ABSTRACT: We present a study of electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) under the excitation of a 100% amplitude-modulated (AM)
coupling field. The EIT feature is associated with a Λ type three-level configuration where a coupling and probe field couples
two separate optical transitions and it is well-known that the spectrum of the swept probe field gives a simple single transparency
feature induced by the single mode coupling field. It is shown that when a 100% AM coupling field is applied, there is an
EIT doublet and the separation of the EIT doublet can be controlled by the modulation frequency of the coupling field. Our
result implies a new way of manipulating EIT resonance and opening more than one EIT windows.

ABSTRACT: Transparency and absorption overlaping with Mollow profile in a lambda three-level scheme driven by two coupling fields was investigated. There are two degenerate hyperfine levels within ground state. A strong coupling field and a probing field interact with the same optical transition between the excited state level and the first ground state hyperfine level, and an additional weak coupling field interacts with the excited state level and the second ground state hyperfine level, which is named double coupling lambda three-level scheme. It can be seen that when the strong coupling field is off-resonant, there is the superposition of Mollow profile with EIT, EIA and other quantum coherent phenomena, namely, Mollow profile with seven peaks. The dependence of the position of the EIT or EIA on Rabi frequency and frequency detuning of the strong coupling field was investigated. The results can be accounted for by dressed-state formalism.
