ABSTRACT: Web service is a new paradigm of using the Web. One of the fundamental supports of the web service vision is a brokerage system that enables services to be published to a searchable repository and later retrieved by potential users. Automated Web service discovery is a key challenge in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) research. There exist many web services which exhibit similar functional characteristics. It is imperative to provide service consumers with facilities for discovering required web services according to their nonfunctional aspects like QoS. An important issue arising from Web Service applications is how to conveniently, accurately and efficiently retrieve services from large-scale and expanding service repositories. The QoS based web service discovery play an essential role in SOA because most of the applications want to use services that accurately meet their requirements. We propose the agent-based architecture for dynamic Web service discovery which facilitates the requester to specify his/her QoS requirements along with functional requirements. In this paper, we propose a novel approach for designing and developing an agent-based architecture and its QoS-based matching, ranking and selection algorithm for evaluating web services. The paper presents an optimal approach for finding the most suitable web service according to the consumer's requirements.

ABSTRACT: As the demand of, requesting the Internet without any disturbance by the mobile users of any network is increasing the IETF started working on Network Mobility (NEMO). Maintaining the session of all the nodes in mobile network with its home network and external nodes can be provided by the basic Network Mobility support protocol. It provides mobility at IP level to complete networks, allowing a Mobile Network to change its point of attachment to the Internet, while maintaining the ongoing sessions of the nodes of the network. The Mobile Router (MR) manages the mobility even though the nodes don't know the status of mobility. This article discusses few basic concepts and limitations of NEMO protocol and proposes two ways to optimize the NEMO routing technique for registered and unregistered Correspondent Nodes (CN) of the Mobile Network Node (MNN). ABSTRACT: Web service technology has gained more important role in developing distributed applications and systems on the Internet. Rapid growth of published Web services makes their discovery more and more difficult. There exist many web services which exhibit similar functional characteristics. It is imperative to provide service consumers with facilities for selecting required web services according to their non-functional characteristics or QoS. The QoS-based web service discovery mechanisms will play an essential role in SOA, as e-Business applications want to use services that most accurately meet their requirements. However, representing and storing the values of QoS attributes are problematic, as the current UDDI was not designed to accommodate these emerging requirements. To solve the problems of storing QoS in UDDI and aggregating QoS values using the tModel approach. The aim is to study these approaches and other existing QoS tModel representation for their efficiency and consistency in service discovery. This paper discusses a broad range of research issues such as web service discovery or web service selection based on QoS in the E-Business domain.

ABSTRACT: Web service technology is playing a major role in today's distributed system computing. The wide adoption of Web services raises the challenging problem of service discovery. With an increasing number of Web services providing similar functionalities, quality of service (QoS) is becoming an important criterion for selecting of the best available service. We aim to refine the discovery process through designing a new framework that enhances retrieval algorithms by combining syntactic and semantic matching of services. We propose a model of QoS-based Web services discovery that combines an augmented UDDI registry to publish the QoS information.

ABSTRACT: Nowadays, the requirement of Internet is increasing in more and more heterogeneous scenarios; especially in mobile platforms, such as Planes, trains and buses. NEMOWG (network mobility workging group) a new working group in IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) is formed to provide mechanisms to manage the mobility of a network as a whole, enabling that network to change its point of attachment to an IP-based fixed infrastructure without disturbing the ongoing communications or sessions. This article describes the IPv6 Network Mobility (NEMO) basic support protocol, analysis its limitation and suggesting a solution for one of the problem.

ABSTRACT: Object recognition and classification in a multi-environment is an important part of machine vision. The goal of this paper is to build a system that classifies the objects of interest plane and helicopter. This paper addresses the issues to classify objects by combining pose and viewpoint invariant to certain extend. The threshold technique with background subtraction is used to segment the background region to extract the object of interest. Feature extraction is done through edge detection. The features of the objects with variety of pose, viewpoint images are fed to the back-propagation neural classifier. Quantitative evaluation shows improved results by comparison of classification done with the proposed method with that of classification done with conventional feature extraction method.

ABSTRACT: Object recognition and classification in a multi-environment is an important part of machine vision. The goal of this paper is to build a system that classifies the objects amidst background clutter and mild occlusion. This paper addresses the issues to classify objects of real-world images containing side views of cars with complex background with that of non-car images with natural scenes. The threshold technique with background subtraction is used to segment the background region to extract the object of interest. Features of the objects are extracted using single-level discrete daubechies wavelet coefficients. The features of the objects are fed to the back- propagation neural classifier. Quantitative evaluation shows improved results by comparison of classification done with feature extraction after background removal with that of classification done with feature extraction alone. A critical evaluation of our approach under the proposed standards is presented.
