ABSTRACT: It appears that any health care reform will include tort reform. Since health care reform is aimed at reducing the cost of providing health care and since medical malpractice is believed to be a significant portion of that cost, any health care reform bill passed under the current political climate will most likely include provisions for limiting the costs associated with medical malpractice.
