ABSTRACT: Every common man needs some guidance/advice from his/her friends/relatives/known one, whenever he/she wants to buy something or want to visit somewhere. In this paper authors propose a system to fulfill the knowledge requirements of a common man through mobile services using data mining and knowledge discovery in databases. This system will enable us to furnish such information to a common man without any cost or at a low cost and with least effort. A comparison of proposed system is provided with reference to other available systems.

ABSTRACT: Steganography is the science of hiding information in media based data. We present random numbers logic based steganographic methods and layout management schemes for hiding data/image into image(s). These methods and schemes can be customized according to the requirements of the users and the characteristics of data/images. These methods are secure enough to meet the requirements of the users and user can play significant role in selection and development of these methods. Methods can be chosen randomly and implemented dynamically based on inputs, user choices as well as outputs. Experimental results are given to demonstrate the performance of the proposed methods.

ABSTRACT: Data mining as a formal discipline is only two decades old, but it has registered phenomenal development and has become a mature discipline in this short span. In this paper, we present an empirical study of supervised learning processes based on empirical evaluation of different classification algorithms. We have included most of the supervised learning processes based on different pre pruning and post pruning criteria. We have included ten datasets, collected from internationally renowned agencies. Different specific models are presented and results are generated. Issues related to different processes are analyzed suitably. We also present a comparison of our study with benchmark results of different datasets and classification algorithms. We have presented results of all algorithms with fifteen different performance measures out of a set of twenty three calculated measures, making it a comprehensive study.

ABSTRACT: The aim of present research work is to develop an information system development process and a model for the development of new generation information systems. New age information systems are those Information systems that are capable of fulfilling the demand of highly dynamic information requirements derived from the competitive environments of the business organizations and support controlling the complexity involved in their maintenance and software reuse. Present research work analyzes the theoretical, financial, technical and practical problems related to the information system development, maintenance and software reuse, to propose an appropriate system development process and a model for the development as well as maintenance of information systems with maximum software reuse. Proposed system development process and model provide inherent support to the business organizations, in getting total control over information system development and maintenance maximum software reuse.
