ABSTRACT: The vector Ay and tensor analyzing powers Ayy and Axx for dp- elastic
scattering were measured at Td = 880 MeV over the c.m. angular range from 60 to
140 degrees at the JINR Nuclotron. The data are compared with predictions of
different theoretical models based on the use of nucleon-nucleon forces only.
The observed discrepancies of the measured analyzing powers from the
calculations require the consideration of additional mechanisms.

ABSTRACT: A design for a ΔE-E detector to investigate deuteron breakup in the Nuclotron-M internal target in a deuteron energy interval of 300–500 MeV
is presented. The high-voltage power supply system of the PMT-63, which is based on the computer-controlled Wenzel Electronik
module, is briefly described. A light-emitting diode (LED) monitoring system for the ΔE-E detector is considered. The results of testing the ΔE-E detector using cosmic muons and deuteron beams of the Nuclotron are presented.

ABSTRACT: The tensor polarization of the deuteron beam arising as deuterons pass through a carbon target was measured. The experiment
was performed with an extracted unpolarized 5-GeV/c deuteron beam of the Nuclotron. The effect observed is compared with the calculations made using the Glauber multiple scattering
theory.

ABSTRACT: The investigation of the d, 3H and 3He spin structure has been performed at
the RIKEN(Japan) accelerator research facility and VBLHEP(JINR) using both
polarized and unpolarized deuteron beams. The experimental results on the
analyzing powers studies in dp- elastic scattering, d(d,3H)p and d(d,3He)n
reactions are presented. The vector and tensor analyzing powers for dp-elastic
scattering at 880 and 2000 MeV are obtained at the Nuclotron(VBLHEP). The
result on the analyzing powers Ay, Ayy of the deuteron at 2000 MeV are compared
with relativistic multiple scattering model calculations. The data on the
tensor analyzing powers for the d(d,3H)p and d(d,3He)n reactions obtained at Ed
= 200 and 270 MeV demonstrate the sensitivity to the 3H, 3He and deuteron spin
structure. The essential disagreements between the experimental results and the
theoretical calculations within the one-nucleon exchange model framework are
observed. The wide experimental program on the study of the polarization
effects in dp- elastic scattering, dp-nonmesonic breakup, d(d,3He)n, d(d,3H)p
and d(3He,4He)p reactions using internal and extracted beam at Nuclotron is
discussed.

ABSTRACT: Recent results on the deuteron analyzing powers obtained in collisions of polarized deuterons with protons and light nuclei at intermediate and high energies are reported. The obtained results are sensitive to the spin structure of the short range correlations. The prospects of the spin program for hadronic reactions at Nuclotron-NICA facility is discussed. The polarimetry developments are also presented.

ABSTRACT: First results of the differential cross section in dp elastic scattering at
1.25 GeV/u measured with the HADES over a large angular range are reported. The
obtained data corresponds to large transverse momenta, where a high sensitivity
to the two-nucleon and three-nucleon short-range correlations is expected.

ABSTRACT: A deuteron beam polarimeter has been constructed at the Internal Target
Station
at the Nuclotron of JINR. The polarimeter is based on spin-asymmetry
measurements in the d-p elastic scattering at large angles and the deuteron
kinetic energy of 270 MeV. It allows to measure vector and tensor components of
the deuteron beam polarization
simultaneously.

correlations (SRCs) studies at Nuclotron-M (JINR) are presented. This
program is focused on the investigations of the spin part of SRCs with
polarized deuteron beam from new high intensity polarized deuterons ion
source which is under development at JINR. The wide experimental program
on the systematic studies of the polarization effects in dp- elastic

ABSTRACT: Recent results on the spin effects in deuteron inclusive breakup and deuteron-proton elastic scattering obtained at the Veksler
and Baldin Laboratory of High Energies at JINR are reported. The experimental data have been obtained with the use of a high-energy
polarized deuteron beam at the Synchrophasotron-Nuclotron Accelerator Complex. The covered energy range corresponds to the
short internucleonic distances where the relativistic effects and non-nucleonic degrees of freedom can play a significant
role.
