ABSTRACT: A new high-slew-rate CMOS buffer amplifier consuming a very small quiescent current is proposed. This buffer amplifier recursively copies the output driving current and increases the tail current of the input differential pair during slewing. Since the proposed buffer has a possible slew rate higher than 10 V/μs for a load capacitance of 1 nF almost independently of static currents as low as 1 μA, this buffer amplifier is promising for column driver ICs of flat panel displays that require low static power consumption, high current driving capabilities, and small silicon areas.

ABSTRACT: This paper introduces the information transmission system between on-board and ground-site in MAGLEV. To provide information transmission, 1.1 km information line assembly was constructed and frequency shift keying modulation and high-level data link control protocol based open system interface are applied. In FSK modulation from ground-site to on-board, the carrier frequency of 70 kHz is used and in opposite direction, the carrier frequency of 90 kHz is used. Transmission speed is 2400 bps after consideration of train speed, quantity of information, and data error rate. This paper introduces information monitoring system considering user interface. Also the method for an effective data transmission in MAGLEV which is now tested and intends to provide for an intelligent train operation system in the future is presented
