  ABSTRACT: In the future Internet of Things, intelligent embedded devices are expected to not only offer their functionality as a web service, but also to be able to discover and cooperate with other devices and services in a peer-to-peer way. The new capabilities of the emerging infrastructure will have a significant impact on industrial applications, services and business practices. In this paper we explore the simulation of such an infrastructure composed of heterogeneous web-service enabled (SOA-ready) devices with the help of a multi-agent system.
