ABSTRACT: We demonstrated the highest electro-optic (EO) coefficient with the highest poling efficiency (~100%) in actual modulator devices. This breakthrough was accomplished with contact poling of a crosslinkable EO polymer with an electrically conductive sol-gel cladding.
