  ABSTRACT: Although radon, being the most important natural source of population exposure, has been a well explored issue, for Serbia and most of the countries in the Balkan region, there is no systematic data on the levels of radon exposure in dwellings. Since 1997 several hundreds of houses in rural Balkan communities have been investigated with different techniques. The results of these measurements are presented in the poster presentation.
