    ABSTRACT: For a multihoming Mobile Node (MN), more resource is consumed because of multiple copies of every packet being forwarded to an MN according to the basic Proxy Mobile IPv6 (PMIPv6) specification. Therefore, network congestion and some security issues can't be avoided. To tackle the issues, this paper presents a reactive learning mechanism that a Local Mobility Anchor (LMA) initiates a learning procedure of IP addresses of interfaces when it firstly forwards a packet to a registered ¿pending¿ interface. The statuses of Binding Cache Entry (BCE) are set for ¿active¿ from ¿pending¿ after the Home Network Prefixes (HNPs) at BCEs have been updated with the learned IP addresses respectively. For achieving an IP address, minimum required messages and extension of messages are defined and detailed message sequence charts are elaborated in the mechanism. The mechanism is applicable to all current access technologies and possesses well expansibility. It does not change the BCE's matching principle of PMIPv6 and abides by the network prefix match. Moreover the mechanism can suite the alternation of IP address.

    ABSTRACT: Route optimization technique helps to optimize the media path and to lessen the propagation delay time between two communicating nodes. For PMIPv6 technology, this route optimization technique is applicable to the scenarios, i.e., a separate MAG scenario and a sharing MAG scenario whose two communication terminals register different LMAs respectively. In this paper, two route optimum mechanisms for local communication on PMIPv6 is presented for forwarding data packets rapidly. For the separate MAG scenario, a bidirectional tunnel is set up between two peer MAGs. A MAG address discovery mechanism is presented because its address is a prerequisite of route optimum in the scenario. An internal binding mechanism is proposed for the route optimum on the sharing MAG scenario. The set up and maintenance of localized routing optimum, which allows forwarding of data packets between mobile nodes and correspondent nodes directly without involvement of the LMA in forwarding, can makes no difference for data packet forward, decrease packet loss, increase throughput or diminish transport delay.

    ABSTRACT: Because of a MN's multi-interface sharing a unique network prefix, more resource shall be consumed owing to multiple copies of every packet being forwarded to a Mobile Node (MN) in a Proxy Mobile IPv6 (PMIPv6) domain. It may also result in network congestion and some security issues. To tackle the issues, a predictive binding mechanism is presented in this paper. It enables a Local Mobility Anchor (LMA) know the IP addresses of all or some interfaces belonging to a MN. The mechanism reuses and extended the existing register message to convey the learned IP address. Minimum extension of messages is defined and detailed message sequence charts are elaborated for the presented mechanism. Moreover, its technical features and performance analysis are provided. It does not change the BCE's matching principle of PMIPv6 and abides by the network prefix match. The mechanism can also suite the alternation of IP address and any possible radio access technologies and provide well expansibility.

    ABSTRACT: Automatic service composition converging these two services in telecom and Web realm can hardly achieved by far inasmuch as the absent semantic services interface defined with WSDL. In this paper, after analyzing the shortcoming of these existing description technologies of Web services and telecommunication services, we put forward an extending method via enriching the content of OWL-S Profile document with OWL-S to CSTA services specified in ECMA specifications, and an improved algorithm of forward chaining automatic service composition to facilitate the converged service composition between network services and telecommunication services. The proposed technique is applied to an automatic stock quote scenario and composition results are presented demonstrating the rationality of these proposed ideas.

    ABSTRACT: When PMIPv6 and MIPv6 protocols are deployed in a network where multiple HAs collocated with LMAs are deployed and a mobile node moves from a MIPv6 network to the PMIPv6 home domain, the MAG must select the particular LMA collocated with the MN's HA in the previous MIPv6 domain, otherwise packets addressed to the MN will be dropped, vice versa. Two interaction mechanisms are proposed for solving the issues existing between a MIPv6 domain and a PMIPv6 domain. The MN's HA registers its address at the MN's AAA server after the MIPv6 registration over, and then the MN's MAG retrieves the HA address during the authentication phase and initiates the PMIPv6 registration procedure when the MN enters a PMIPv6 domain. The process procedure is identical to the former solution when the MN roams to a MIPv6 domain from a PMIPv6 domain. The sole difference is the LMA address instead of the HA address. The proposed schemes improve the mobility management performance of the interaction between a MIPv6 domain and a PMIPv6 domain and enhance the capability of network deployment.

    ABSTRACT: In WiMAX network, the Connectivity Service Network Anchored Mobility Management (CSNAMM) is the important portion of the MS mobility management. However,some problems exist in the current specifications for the host mobility management on IPv6. Some proper measures are proposed for solving the problems in this paper. The mechanism triggering the client mobile IP procedure in WiMAX network is inconsistent with that described in the mobile IPv6 specification.It is solved by updating the order of the message and the corresponding implementing method. By adding some new messages, the result status affirmance of binding update can be verified. The data integrity problem during Connectivity Service Network (CSN) handoff is solved by creating the new data path between the serving gateway and the target gateway before the handoff and then deleting the data path at proper time after handover. In the solutions, it is unnecessary to append the new entity, network element and module. And the proposed message sequence chart accords with the specifications of the WiMAX and the MIPv6.

    ABSTRACT: SFA management is an essential element in the WiMAX network architecture. However, there are some issues, which are the abruptions between the authenticator and the ASFA and between the anchor GW and the SSFA. The abruptions result from the mobility management in WiMAX network architecture and bring on that service flow service provided to mobile users canpsilat be accomplished. Network exit may take place because the incorrect communication from the abruptions. The issues are figured out by the ASFA relocation algorithm and the SSFA relocation algorithm presented in the paper. The algorithms proposed can implement the normal communication between the ASFA and the SSFA. And mobile users can obtain the anticipant service flow. Therefore, the network exit and the states mismatch can be avoided. The proposed scheme can be implemented through minimally modifying the existing Mobile-WiMAX specification. Furthermore, after the relocation of SSFA follows the change of the anchor point in the CSN mobility management, the ASFA is not conscious of the location movement of the SSFA. In this paper, the context transfer is applied for notifying the current location of the SSFA to the ASFA.

Reconfigurahle charging control and management are especially important issues for service provider and user in NGN. The research aims at the reconfigurable charging architecture, which provides flexible charging according to pricing policy, sharing revenue on basis of apportioning policy and customizing billing, related an adaptive service platform. The new Parlay/OSA API is requirement for support the reconfigurable charging architecture.
