Conference Proceeding: Design of second-order sub-bandgap mixed-mode voltage reference circuit for low voltage applications
[show abstract] [hide abstract]
ABSTRACT: This paper presents a second-order BiCMOS sub-bandgap voltage reference circuit for temperature range of -40 to 120 °C. The sub-bandgap voltage is obtained through a new mixed-mode topology, which has the added advantage for obtaining high precision second-order temperature compensation. The circuit is designed in 0.5 μm BiCMOS process. The reference voltage obtained is 475.2 mV at room temperature and has a temperature coefficient of less than 15 ppm/°C. The proposed circuit finds application in low voltage power management circuits.VLSI Design, 2005. 18th International Conference on; 02/2005 -
Conference Proceeding: A temperature-compensated bandgap voltage reference circuit for high precision applications
[show abstract] [hide abstract]
ABSTRACT: This paper presents a second-order BiCMOS bandgap voltage reference circuit for temperature range of -40 to 120 °C and for supply voltage of 5 Volt. The bandgap voltage is obtained through a mixed-mode topology, which has the added flexibility for obtaining high precision second-order temperature compensation. The circuit is designed in 0.5 μm BiCMOS process. The reference voltage obtained is 1.158 V at room temperature and has a temperature coefficient of 3 ppm/°C. The proposed circuit will find application in high precision analog and digital circuits.India Annual Conference, 2004. Proceedings of the IEEE INDICON 2004. First; 01/2005
