[Myoepithelial carcinoma of the parotid gland--a case report].

ABSTRACT The case of parotid gland tumour of the carcinoma myoephitelial histological structure in 55 year old patient was described in the paper. The patient had the surgical treatment of total parotid gland removal with the function of the facial nerve preserved and a complementary radiotherapy. The attention is paid to rarity of this type of tumour and difficulties in a proper patomorphological evaluation requiring special immunohistochemical tests.
